| The Lathrobiina belongs to Coleoptera,Staphylinidae,Paederinae.They are widely live in the floor of the broad-leaved forest and mingled forest.Most of them pursue acaroids and so on as insect feeders.The others eat organic remainders to promote the recycle of natural material,which is important for human beings and natural resource.Until now,1348 species and 26 genera of the Lathrobiina have been known to the world.There are 10 genera and 342 species known in China,of which 305 species in the Mainland and 42 species in Taiwan(5 from both Mainland and Taiwan).More than 20 researchers have studied the Chinese fauna of the Lathrobiina,but the systematic researches on this subtribe are still far from adequate.The present study was based on the consulting all related literature and careful examinations of over 1000 specimens collected from various nature reserves of China,as well as the systematic research and summary on this subtribe.The result is summarized as follows:1.In the paper,7 genera and 125 species of the Lathrobiina are recorded,of which,84 are described as new:Domene chenae sp.nov.(Guangxi),Domene cultrata sp.nov.(Hubei;Chongqing;Shaanxi;Gansu),Domene cuspidata sp.nov.(Guizhou)(All the new taxa were published,except Elytrobium zhejiangense).All the species are given the research history,the collecting data and distribution of each species.All species are described and illustrated in detail with color photos and the sexual characters were illustrated.2.Keys to the genera and species of Chinese Lathrobiina are given to solve difficulties of systematic researches on Chinese Lathrobiina.Base on consulting all related literatures,databases of all the known genera and species of the world are built to clarify the species of Lathrobiina,including:scientific name,author,year of publication,type locality,distribution,taxonomic history,description,photos and many more.On the detailed examination of literatures about Chinese Lathrobiina,a catalog of Lathrobiina of China is given to clarify these insect resources.3.The phylogenetic relationship of the genera of Chinese Lathrobiina is conducted by using WinClada for the first time.The result showed that:Tetartopeus is well supported as a monophyletic genus.Majority consensus tree of Lathrobiina supports a closer relationship between Sinlathrobium and Pseudolathra than with Lathrobium,and supports a sister relationship between Lathrobium and Lobrathium,which agrees with the current taxonomic system. |
