Urban green space is an important part of urban ecological environment,which plays a vital role in the field of improving urban ecological environment.In the face of the worsening thermal environment of Taiyuan city,the relationship between urban land surface temperature and urban green space factors has been studied,on the basis of spatial and temporal evolution of thermal environment of Taiyuan city from 1987 to 2014,to understand cooling mechanism of urban green space by adjusting green space layout and optimizing the structure,and then advances some corresponding solving measures.The core of this study is to explore an effective way for improving urban thermal environment by urban green space.Taiyuan city as an example,which is the resource-based city of heavy industry in Shanxi Province,the coupling relationship between urban green space and urban environment has been studied for searching the thermal environment influence mechanism of urban green space from different scales by means of RS and GIS technology.And the influence of urban green space's level layout and plant community vertical structure to the surrounding thermal environment has been analyzed in order to validation and forecast further the effect of urban green space to thermal environment by CFD simulation method.Based on the above research results,the optimization strategy of Taiyuan city green space has been put forward,according to current situation of Taiyuan city green space construction,to improve the thermal environment from the green space system,the green patches and plant community scale,by improving green vegetation cover degree,increasing green area,perimeter,,adjusting the shape of green space index,selecting green space level layout form,and building reasonable structure of plant community.An "mesh structure" cooling scheme of green space has been put forward to alleviate urban thermal environment,together with the present situation of Taiyuan city green space construction and green space construction planning in the near future.The influence way and degree of Green space to thermal environment around has been studied systematically to understand influence mechanism of urban green space to thermal environment from the urban green space system,the green patches and plant community three scales.An effective way has been establish to communicate urban green space cooling mechanism and the planning and design practice by CFD numerical simulation technology.A solving ideas of optimization of urban green space landscape and enhance its cooling effect has been put forward,and a connection way of communication to green space cooling theory and the practice has been established in order to improve the deteriorating urban thermal environment;It provides effective method of green space planning and design to ease the urban heat island effect and improve urban thermal environment,and enriches theory and methods of the research in urban green space field.
