The full-colour fabric structure based on the layered-combination mode is a kind of compound fabric structure which could not only give full play to the mixed colour of yarns in the same yarn direction,but also make warp and weft yarn interlaced to form the gradient colour effect.In recent years,the full-colour compound fabric structure based on the layered-combination design mode has an outstanding application value both in the simulation and innovative effect design of jacquard fabric.Compared with the traditional single plane jacquard design mode,the integrated jacquard fabric design mode has the characteristic of digitized design process,various structure combinations and diverse fabric colours.So that fabric designers can focus more on the innovative effect design of jacquard fabric,which showing a broader range of innovative space to enhance the high additional value of jacquard fabric products.In this study,the full-colour compound fabric structure with odd-layer weave combination is constructed by means of a line-by-row arrangement based on the basic weaves with complete repeat numbers.The structure is composed of a group of warp yarn and odd-numbered groups of weft yarns.The interlaced fabric structure is characterized by weft-yarn alignment without overlapping.And each group of weft yarns is interwoven with warp yarns forming the shaded weaves,which has the advantage of giving full play to the fabric yarn colour and its mixed colour.According to the design factors such as the basic weave and the combination layer,the colour rendering law of the fabric structure is studied,which provides a theoretical basis for the innovative design of jacquard fabric by using the fabric structure.Firstly,this study presents the construction principle of the full-colour fabric structure with odd-layer combined to enable the fabric has a stable colour rendering effect,and its validity is verified by practice.By analyzing the design principle and the colour-rendering law of the full-colour fabric structure based on a group of basic weave,the relationship between the design factors of the full-colour fabric structure based on one basic weave and the colour rendering effect of the fabric is identified.Based on the research result of the first stage,three groups and five groups of basic weaves were used to design the full-colour fabric structure with three-layer and five-layer combination respectively.The calculation formula for the interlacing starting point of the basic weave,and the design method of additional technical points were proposed.The relationship between the number of the technical weave points and the colour stability of the fabric structure with odd-numbered layers is clarified by comparing the lightness value and the colour difference of the fabric sample groups with one point,two points and four points in one weft respectively.Secondly,this paper researches the colour rendering law of the fabric structure with the odd-layer combination,and sets up series of fabric card with three-layer and five-layer combined weave structure.Under the production condition of white warp,the former employs the colour weft of red,yellow and blue,the latter adopts the colour weft of red,yellow,blue,black and green,and the colour value were measured while the fabric colour samples were produced.The distribution patterns of colour value(CIEL*a*b* value),brightness,chroma,hue angle and the colour difference of each fabric sample group were studied comparatively.The influence mechanism of the repeat number of the basic weave,and the number of the layer combined on the colour rendering law of the full-colour fabric structure with odd-layer combination were mastered.Finally,the design method of full-colour digital jacquard fabric with odd-layer combined weave structure is proposed and practiced.The corresponding and non-corresponding relationship between the layer number of fabric structure and the separated image colours are putting forward to implement the colour simulation and the colour effect innovative design of the jacquard fabric.Giving play to the advantage of the layered-combination design of the fabric structure,the overlapping transparent pattern effect,the texture effect and the multi-purpose jacquard fabric design are carried out.The practical research shows that the full-colour compound fabric structure with the odd-layer weave combination has an outstanding application value and fabric structure compatibility.In conclusion,this study reveals the primary construction principle of the full-colour fabric structure with odd-layer weave combination is the uniform distribution and the positive and negative collocation of interlacing points;and the repeat number of the basic weave and the number of combined layers are the critical factors of controlling and adjusting the fabric colour effect of the compound fabric structure to meet the design requirement of the colour simulation and the effect innovation of the jacquard fabric with odd coloured weft or coloured warp.The above conclusions provide a theoretical basis for the design and application of the integrated fabric structure with odd-layers weave combination.
