With the rapid development of the economy in China,the demand of resources also increased.Meanwhile,the contradiction among population,resource,environment and social-economic development become more and more prominent.Resources will be the key to solve the contradictions.Thus,sources will play an important role in the sustainable development over the process of social-economic development.Due to the characteristic of ’Rich coal,poor oil,little gas’,coal becomes the main energy type in China.Although the proportion of coal in energy consumption decreased,China will not be able to completely remove coal in energy structure,and the coal-dominated energy structure will not change,and coal will still the main energy type in the foreseeable future.Dislocation distribution of coal production and consumption make coal flow from western region to eastern region,from norther region to south region.Coal spatial flow has become large-scale,widespread geographic space phenomena.Current studies had conducted some researches on spatial allocation efficiency of energy,but no studies focused on the measurement of energy flow efficiency.On the basis of ’factor measurement-spatial evolution-drive mechanism-path optimization’,this paper combined the qualitative description and quantitative analysis,and applied the econometric and statistical method,GIS data analysis method,and social network analysis method to explore the temporal-spatial evolution and driving mechanism of coal flow and its efficiency.This paper further summarized the mechanism of the evolution of coal resource flow efficiency and put forward relevant optimization countermeasures.The thesis was divided into four parts:① The research background,theoretical basis and literature analysis,including the chapter 1 and chapter 2;② Empirical analysis,being the e-volution characteristics and mechanism of coal flow and its efficiency,including the content from the chapter 3 to chapter 6;③ Promotion and application research,mainly including chapter 7;④ Research conclusions and outlook,mainly including chapter 8.The main conclusions were shown as follows:(1)Coal flow was the important way to meet the demand of different areas of coal,and its influence had been increasing.The proportion of coal inflow in total coal consumption showed a trend of increasing fluctuation.The outflow of coal was also increasingly dependent on a few regions.The coal outflow pressure was increasing in Shanxi,Inner Mongolia,and Shaanxi,and the proportion of coal output in three regions is increasing.Coal flow showed the characteristics of centralized transmission and dispersion of confluence in the geographical space.The absolute difference of coal outflow in output regions showed a fluctuating rise,and finally showed a relatively stable trend;and the relative difference showed the decrease trend.The absolute difference of coal outflow in input regions showed an increasing trend,and the relative difference changed a little.The distance between the gravity of input regions and output regions increase at first and then decrease.The density of China’s coal flow network was at a low level.The relationship of coal flow among regions were not compact,and the network structure was relatively loose and excessively depended on a few node regions and axes.Thus,the regions in coal flow network are not integrated,and the structure was not stable.(2)Based on the definition of coal flow efficiency,the data envelopment analysis model was used to measure the efficiency.① For the output regions,the difference of regional comprehensive efficiency was relatively small,and the difference of pure technology efficiency and scale efficiency was relatively obvious;The comprehensive efficiency was higher in the east-west,and centralized at first and then dispersed,but it had been dispersing in the north-south;The pure technology efficiency was higher in the east-west,and more concentrated,and it dispersed at first and then centralized in the north-south;the scale efficiency dispersed at first and then centralized in the east-west and north-south;the differences of the spatial distribution and the variation of gravity between output regions and comprehensive efficiency,pure technology efficiency gradually increased;Although the difference of the spatial distribution between output regions and scale efficiency was small,the difference of variation of gravity increased.② For the input regions,the difference of regional comprehensive efficiency was relatively small,and the difference of pure technology efficiency and scale efficiency was relatively obvious;The comprehensive efficiency was higher in the north-south,and centralized at first and then dispersed in both north-south and east-west;The pure technology efficiency was higher in the east-west,and more concentrated,and it dispersed at first and then centralized in the north-south and east-west;the scale efficiency dispersed was higher in the north-south,and it trended to centralized in the east-west;the differences of the spatial distribution between input regions and comprehensive efficiency showed ’increase,decrease,and increase’ trend,and the differences of the variation of gravity showed ’ decrease,increase,and increase’trend;the differences of the spatial distribution between input regions and pure technology efficiency showed ’increase,decrease,and increase’ trend,and the differences of the variation of gravity increased at first and then decrease;the differences of the spatial distribution between input regions and scale efficiency decreased at first and then increased,and the differences of the variation of gravity became similar.(3)By means of the weiver index,the types of coal flows in different regions were systematically analyzed according to the degree of different influence factors.① The output regions were divided into two types:resource-traffic type and resource-economy type.Coal production was the first influence factor,and traffic became the important factor influencing the coal outflow.② The input regions were divided into two types:traffic type and economic type.The input regions that belongs to economic type was most.③ the exchange regions can be divided into resource type and economic type,and economic type had been the main type.(4)Using the grey correlation method,the different factors’influence to efficiency was estimated.① For the output regions,economic aggregate index had the larger influence on the Xinjiang’s comprehensive efficiency,Shanxi and Inner Mongolia’s pure technology efficiency,Shanxi and Guizhou’s scale efficiency;economic quality index had the larger influence on the Shanxi’s comprehensive efficiency,Shanxi and Inner Mongolia’s pure technology efficiency,Shanxi and Guizhou’s scale efficiency;guarantee index had the larger influence on the Shanxi and Guizhou’s comprehensive efficiency,Shanxi and Inner Mongolia’s pure technology efficiency,Chongqing and Guizhou’s scale efficiency;technology index had the larger influence on the Shanxi and Inner Mongolia’s comprehensive efficiency,Shanxi and Inner Mongolia’s pure technology efficiency,Shanxi and Guizhou’s scale efficiency.② For the input regions,economic aggregate index had the larger influence on the central and western regions comprehensive efficiency,northern region’s pure technology efficiency and scale efficiency;economic quality index had the larger influence on the southern region’s comprehensive efficiency and pure technology efficiency,and regions with higher impact on scale efficiency were transferred from the southern regions to the northeastern regions;the larger influence of guarantee index on the regions’ comprehensive were transferred from the southern regions to the northeastern regions,and guarantee index had larger influence on north regions’ pure technology efficiency,and regions with higher impact on scale efficiency were transferred from the southern regions to the northern regions;technology index had the larger influence on central and western regions’ comprehensive efficiency,southern regions’ pure technology efficiency and scale efficiency.The innovation points of the paper mainly focus on three aspects:① The methods in studying the resource flow were expanded,and the research methods of geography,sociology and operational research were comprehensively used.ArcGIS,Uncinet and DEAP were used for comprehensive analysis.② Based on the previous research,this paper defined the coal flow efficiency,which made up for the previous shortage.③ The research approach of resource flow efficiency was constructed.
