In order to reduce the odds of accidents due to mechanical impact,high environment temperature or accidental ignition.IHE is a main direction in the current explosive development.The nitroamine explosive(RDX ? HMX and CL-20)is widely used by its excellent output energy,but it not completely satisfy the requirement of IHE.The polymer bonded explosive can solve this problem.The detection of explosives stability mainly include:thermal sensitivity test,mechanical sensitivity test,shock wave sensitivity test and electrostatic sensitivity test.Polymer bonded explosives are widely used for its excellent properties.The binders are cheap and the raw materials are common,and a small amount of binder can greatly reduce mechanical sensitivity of high explosives.Therefore,this paper mainly research on the specific effects of the binder type and content on nitroamine explosives.The main work is as follows:(1)The nitroamine composite explosives are prepared.(1)In this paper,three nitroamine explosives(RDX?HMX?CL-20)are select as the base explosive and Estane 5719,EVA 40 w,F 2601,SA and epoxide resin are coating agents.According to the test results of the solubility of binders,it is found the best solvent.The nitroamine composite explosives are prepared by solvent-aqueous suspension coating method.The properties of raw materials and products are characterized.The results show that the fine RDX particles are ellipsoid and its size is 1 ?m ~5 ?m.the fine HMX particles are ellipsoid and its size is 1 ?m ~10 ?m,and the fine CL-20 particles are rhomboid and its size is 5 ?m~25 ?m.It has no crystal form transition of HMX?CL-20 between uncoated particles and coated particles..(2)The secondary modification of coated particles are studied.The fine HMX particles are coated by the different binder types and binder contents.The conditions,explosive quantity is 2g,the non-solvent is 100 mL,the solvent is 2.9mL,the temperature is 60?,the speed is 800r/min and the mixing time is 30 min,can form the evenly coated particles of2mm~3mm.(2)The influence of binders on the cook-off response of nitroamine composite explosives is studied.(1)When the heating rate is 6 K/min,the DSC results show that the four kinds of binder have not cause the endothermic and exothermic reaction.Under the slow cook-off conditions,the RDX-based PBX explosives,the HMX-based PBX explosives and the CL-20-based PBX explosives are experimented with the different binder contents.The experimental results show that the response violence decrease with the increase of binder content.(2)Under the fast cook-off conditions,the RDX-based PBX explosives,the HMX-based PBX explosives and the CL-20-based PBX explosives are experimented with the different binder contents.The experimental results show that the reaction temperature and the response violence decrease with the increase of heating rate.Compared with the reaction temperature of the slow cook-off,the reacion temperature of the RDX-based PBX explosives and the HMX-based PBX explosives is increased by 30?~40?and 40?~50?,respectively.The response degree is significantly reduced.Compared with the results of RDX/Estane composite explosives,the Estane binder have a greater impact on the thermal safety of HMX explosives.(3)In the case of a certain binder content,the different nitroamine composite explosives are tested the cook-off test with different binder content.The experimental results show that the binder type has no effect on the cook-off result of the RDX-based and HMX-based explosives.However,the binder type has a great influence on the response degree.The thermal safety of the CL-20/EPDM composite explosives is better,when the binder mass fraction is the same.(4)The CL-20-based explosives make the slow cook-off test.The particle size is 30?m~50?m and 5?m~25?m,which has no effect on cook-off result.(3)Based on the statistics analysis of the cook-off response characteristics,it was obtained the measurement methods of the sleeves,the end and top plates and bolts,and the measurement results were scored by the scoring rules.This makes the judge by experience become quantitative and can sort the cook-off response violence of the same response level from strong to weak.
