Nucleic acids,the genetic component of living beings(animals and plants)having a key role in major life activities including heredity,variation and growth.Telomeres,the specialized DNA structure that is present at terminal portion of eukaryotic chromosomes.Immunoglobulin(Ig)have a key role in human immune response.It also has been used as a drug for the treatment of patients having antibody deficiencies(primary and secondary)for over 25 years.Different kinds of electrolytes Na+,k+,Mg++and Ca++,essential part of human body,have a key role in different metabolic reactions.There are number of different kinds of fluorescent probes such as lucifer yellow(LY),4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI),CdTe quantum dots.They are used for detection of immunoglobulin G(IgG),nucleic acid and telomere sequences and different kinds of electrolytes especially Na+and K+.But the detection methods are not easy going.Therefore,it is highly demandable to construct novel,simple,low-cost,portable,sensitive,reuseable,label-free and fast fluorescent biosensor.Now a days,scientists have paid more attention for the development of new methods for the improvement of nanomaterials.To this end,layered double hydroxides(LDHs)is considered as suitable nanomaterial.Layer by layer(LbL)assembly technique is known as a simple protocol for fabricating the novel composite material.Different researchers have successfully assembled different LDH based ultrathin films using electrostatic force of attraction and hydrogen bond.But there is need to assemble other molecules and discover new driving forces to construct LDHs based ultrathin films(UTFs).Therefore,it is highly demandable to discover another assembly driving force and construct a number of different kinds of ultrathin films that have various applications.In this dissertation,we assembled a number of luminescent ultrathin films via host gust combinations between LDH nanosheets and fluorescent material using layer by layer assembly method.The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:1.The fluorescent dye disodium6-Amino-2-(hydrazinecarbonyl)-1,3-dioxobenzo[de]isoquinoline-5,8-disulfonate commonly known as Lucifer Yellow CH(LY)is incorporated between layered double hydroxide(LDH)nanosheets via the layer-by-layer small anion assembly method based on electrostatic interaction.The resulting(LY/LDH)n UTF exhibits excellent sensitivity and reversibility for the detection of IgG molecules.This new(LY/LDH)n UTF,could be an efficient composite with potential applications in the field of bioluminescent sensoring materials.2.3-mercaptopropionic acid(3-MPA)functionalized Cadmium Tellurium(CdTe)QDs were stabilized by silk fibroin(SB)and co-assembled with layered doubled hydroxide(LDH)to form(QDs@SF/LDH)n ultrathin films(UTFs)via the layer-by-layer(LBL)technique.The fabricated materials displayed fluorescence response to a biological macromolecule such as immune globulin,1gG.Thus,the(CdTe QDs@SF/LDH)n UTF has a potential to be used as biosensor for the detection of IgG molecules.3.3.Glycosaminoglycans(GAGs),a highly polar biological moieties were blending with 3-MPA functionalized Cadmium Tellurium(CdTe)QDs and co-assembled with LDH nanosheets to fabricate(CdTe QDs@GAG/LDH)n UTF using layer by layer self-assembly method.The fabricated material(CdTe QDs@GAGs/LDH)n UTFs has a potential to be used as biosensor for the detection of electrolytes such as K+and Na+ions.4.4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)blending with single-stranded DNA(ssDNA)and incorporation into layered double hydroxides(LDH)nanosheets to fabricate(CdTe QDs@GAG/LDH)n UTF using layer by layer self-assembly method.The fabricated material(CdTe QDs@GAGs/LDH)n UTFs has a potential to be used as biosensor for the detection of IgG using layer-by-layer self-assembly method.5.Black Pn(BPN),a fluorescent material was effectively fabricated with LDH nanosheets to construct the(BPN/LDH)n UTFs via electrostatic and hydrogen-bonding interactions between BPN and LDH nanosheets using the layer by layer small anion assembly method.
