Anaerobic digestion is one of the most promising technologies to sustainably produce energy and to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from combustion of fossil energy carriers,and complex microbial communities are involved in the process.Analysis of the microbial communities and the potential connections among the communities of the process is considered to be an important way to develop process optimization strategies.In this study,samples collected from the biogas plants distributed throughout different area of China,and the substrates included pig manure,cattle manure,chicken manure,organic raw material and other waste,were analyzed by metagenomics method to disclose the microbial communities of anaerobic digestion.Analyzed from the microbial communities from samples collected from Jiang Su province,we concluded that the amount of initial substrate show little influence on microbial communities,while different DNA isolation kit and substrate show great effect on microbial communities of anaerobic digestion,though there were some differences between different substrates.Until now,we sequencing the 116 samples collected from the whole country,3.5T sequencing data were produced,and the data is under processing.From the analyzing of the data,we will get a relatively completed microbial gene catalog of anaerobic digestion.
