With development of technology,new application fields such as tunneling,shale drilling and projectile guiding request that the inertial measuring devices can work in the environment with high impact and high mobility.After further investigating on the gyro's mechanism,this dissertation made measurment range improvements on a conical vibratory gyro with small measurement range to meet these needs.The precision machinery processing is applied in manufacturing the vibratory gyro.Gyro's frequency splitting elimination,vibration control and data processing is also studied in this dissertation.The main works and the innovational content are shown below:?1?A conical shell vibrator with isolation holds is presented in this dissertation.The vibration modle of vibrator is established.The concept of transduction's efficiency is presented.Finite element method is applied for analyzing the relationship between vibrator's parameters and vibrator's mechanical properties.The vibrator's parameters include structure parameters,material parameters and piezoelectric electrode parameters.The vibrator's mechanical propertys include quality factor,transduction's efficiency and the natural frequency of working modal.According to the analysis,a set of optimized vibrator's parameters is concluded.The quality factor of vibrator is reduced to increase the measurment range of gyro and transduction's efficiency is improved to make up for a loss of gyro's performance which cause by reducing vibrator's quality factor.Then impact resistance property in different directions of vibrator is studied.?2?The problem of conical shell vibrator's frequency splitting elimination is analyzed.The common characteristics of axisymmetric shell structure's frequency splitting problem are summarized.An equivalent imperfect mass point model is presented.The vibrator with stochastic imperfections is made equivalent to a perfect shell with an imperfect mass point.The vibrator's frequency splitting is eliminated by adding mass at right position on the bottom of imperfect vibrator.Finite element modeling is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the elimination approach.According to the analysis,modal fixing method is presented to improve proformence of frequency splitting eliminating method.?3?The circuit designing of gyro system,vibration driving and controling,gyro's data processing is researched.A method of signal extraction which based on signal correlational analysesis presented.The vibration signal of vibrator's sensing axis is mapped to a vector in a space of two-dimensional.The signal of input angular velocity is extracted from the signal of vibrator's sensing axis by using the law of the sum of parallelogram.Then the relationship between and among vibrator's parameters,residual frequency splitting and signal of vibrator's sensing axis is studied.The conclusion shows that the interfering signal and travelling wave vibration are all caused by residual frequency splitting of vibrator.The linearity of gyro's output is improved by using the signal extraction method.The prototype system of gyro is produced according to those conclusion.After the performance testing,the measuring range is 3600o/s,non-linearity of scale factor is 0.5%,zero-bias stability is 14.93o/h,angle random walking is 2.38o/h1/2,resolution is 0.3o/s,designed impact resistance property is 12500g...
