In-situ leaching for uranium is a advanced technology which extracts uranium by injecting Leaching Solution into the ore-bearing formation and pumping Lixiviate out from the ore-bearing formation based on the water permeability of the sandstone orebed.Studying the distribution range of the leaching solution below well field will not only help to learn the coverage range of the orebody covered by leaching solution and mining rate but also be significance to monitoring the underground water pollution.Electric prospecting was carried out in the Uranium In-Situ Leaching Mining Test Base in Erlian Basin of Inner Mongolia in order to perform a monitoring test on the course of ISL for uranium. The monitoring test consisting of Controlling Source Audio Magneto Telluric method and Time Domain Induced Polarization method. The test field consist of an 18x18 survey grid with the both line-line and dot-dot space of 10 m apart.During the test,CSAMT was performed on 5 longitudinal and 4 transverse prospecting lines which cross through the well unit and TDIP was conducted on the whole well field.A plane polarizability contour map of TDIP and a 2-dimensional apparent resistivity model was obtained after data processing and inversion. An interpretation was made combining the result with test field geological information known,it is considered that the low resistivity anomaly area in the apparent resistivity profile below the pumping well unit is the reflection of the distribution state of the leaching solution underground during the In-Situ Leaching Mining process, meanwhile,a mass low polarizability anomaly area in the plane apparent polarizability contour map below the pumping well unitis caused by Film Polarization effect occurred within the ionic conductionsystem which consist of leaching solution and rock formation. So that, coverage gradient of leaching solution underground in the deposit located in Erlian Basin,Inner Mongolia was inferred by means above. There is a detailed introduction about the research and analysis to geology of uranium deposits in sedimentary rock and its physical property is also included, the insitu-leaching solution rang exploring trail has been carried out in the pilot zone which the Controlled Source Audio-Frequency Magneto Tellurics(CSAMT)and Time-Domiain Induce Polarization methods are applied for the first time, and the relatent data and material is obtained, comprehensive geophysical analysis and explanation is combined the factors such as geological structure, physical property data, hydrological data, chemical and hydrodynamical process data.Particularly,it is taken as one of the key factor of the research in the faulted structures underness of pilot zone of urainim deposits to determine the leaching solution range, further, the leaching solution range is delimited in shape, depth and size resonably and credibly,so that it reaches the conclusion that the resistivity sounding(including DC depth sounding and electromagnetic sounding, artificial source and natural field sounding methods),TimeDomain and Frequency Induce Polarization methods are the preferred geophysical method in the Urainium Insitu-leaching solution range detection.
