At present,high-speed railway construction continues to flourish in China,and high-speed railway stations have been built or rebuilt in many cities.Travel convenience is improved,local construction and economic growth are promoted by the construction of high-speed railway.However,how to realize efficient connection between urban transport system and high-speed railway system is a problem to be solved for urban transport system managers.As an important connection point between high-speed railway system and urban transport system,high-speed railway station is the key to realize efficient connection between urban transport system and high-speed railway system.Feeder bus is an important urban transport mode to collect and distribute passengers for high-speed railway stations.It is of great significance to construct an appropriate feeder bus system of high-speed railway station.However,there is a lack of theoretical research on planning and operation management of high-speed railway station feeder bus system.Therefore,the main content of this paper is to make an in-depth study and discussion on the route design and operation scheme optimization theory and method of high-speed railway station feeder bus,by referring to the existing relevant research and considering the actual situation of high-speed railway construction and urban public transport planning and operation in China.This dissertation mainly includes the following parts:1.Research status of related problems is combed through from the following aspects: bus route design,timetabling,integrated optimization of timetabling and vehicle scheduling,as well as combined scheduling.Characteristics and shortcomings of existing research are analyzed.2.The characteristics of high-speed railway station's passenger flow,location and feeder transport modes are analyzed.The basic requirements of connection between high-speed railway system and feeder bus system are analyzed in three aspects: space,time and transport capacity.The basic principles of connection between high-speed railway system and feeder bus system are extracted.In addition,the route design and operation scheme optimization framework of high-speed railway station feeder bus is proposed.The objectives and key problems of route design and operation scheme optimization of high-speed railway station feeder bus are clearly explicated in this optimization framework.3.How to design route of high-speed railway station feeder bus is studied.Firstly,route's characteristics of high-speed railway station feeder bus is summarized.Considering the actual situation of high-speed station construction in China,the optimization objectives and constraints of high-speed railway station feeder bus route design problem are analyzed.By analyzing the conflicts between passengers' and operators' expectation,the idea of feeder bus route design and stop location integrated optimization is put forward.On the basis of the above analysis,a multi-objective optimization formulation is built to optimize route design and stop location of feeder bus system of single high-speed railway station simultaneously.Moreover,considering passengers' diffirent demand,another multi-objective route design and stop location integrated optimization formulation is developed for feeder bus system of multiple high-speed railway stations.An exact ?-constraint method is used to solve the formulations.The results of numerical example show that the proposed formulation and solution method are feasible and effective.4.Timetabling and vehicle scheduling integrated optimization problem of high-speed railway station feeder bus is studied.Firstly,the feasibility of regional vehicle scheduling method,the origin-destination pattern and time distribution characteristics of high-speed railway passengers are analyzed.By deciding the number of trips,timetable and vehicle scheduling plan at the same time,a multi-objective integrated optimization formulation is built.Therefore,the coordination of the feeder bus timetable and the high-speed railway passenger's time distribution can be realized.In addition,operator cost can be minimized.Because of the high time value of high-speed railway passengers,the loss of passengers due to the long waiting time is considered when the formulation is built.An exact ?-constraint method is used to solve the formulation.The results of the numerical example show that the formulation and solution method are effective.Moreover,feeder bus timetable with a high consistency to the high-speed railway passenger's time distribution can be generated.5.Optimization of feeder bus mixed scheduling for explosive passenger flow is studied.Based on the fact that the travel demand to each stop is often not balanced,an operation strategy that building a shuttle line is used to transport passengers more quickly.A multi-objective mixed scheduling optimization formulation is built based on this operation strategy to decide the number of trips,departure time of each trip,vehicle scheduling plan and stop schedule plan of the shuttle line simultaneously.An exact ?-constraint method is used to solve the formulation.The results of the numerical example show that the feeder bus mixed scheduling plan generated by the formulation and solution method proposed in this section performs better or not worse than the mixed scheduling strategy generally used by operators.
