Assessment Of Grassland Ecosystem Services Of Dornod Province,Mongolia

Based on the field investigation and ecological economic analysis method,the value of ecosystem services was assessed for three main grasslands of Domod in Mongolia,containing degrading grasslands.The main results and conclusions are as follows:1.The value of ecosystem services of meadow steppe,typical steppe and desert steppe was 2.4858 × 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,2.4642 × 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a and 2.4322 × 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 ·a,respectively.Meadow steppe provides a maximum value of meadow grassland,and desert steppe with minimum value.As direct value,the grass products and entertainment culture of three types were 0.1058x 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,0.0995× 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a and 0.0915 × 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,respectively;As indirect value,the.release oxygen,photosynthetic carbon dioxide fixation,soil erosion control,water conservation,nutrient return and waste degradation,biodiversity conservation,nutrient cycling and other 7 kinds of service function of three types were 2.3798×10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,2.3645x 10~4 Yuan/hm~2· a and 2.3407x 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,respectively.Indirect values were 22.48 times,23.75 times and 25.59 times the direct values,respectively.Thus,the total value of grassland ecosystem services was related to size and type of grassland,and more from indirect values.2.The value of ecosystem services of degrading meadow steppe,degrading typical steppe and degrading desert steppe was 2.4261× 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,2.4231 × 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a and 2.4177× 10~4 Yuan/hm~2· a,The value decreased respectively 0.0597x 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a?0.0411×10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a and 0.0145 × 10~4 Yuan/hm~2 · a,comparng with the regular grasslands.Among them,the meadow steppe provides the highest ecosystem services value,and also showed the largest decline after degradation.Thus,the degradation impacted on the total value of ecosystem services,and caused the worst influence for grassland ecosystem that can provide the most values.
