Study On Quality Evaluation Of Herbal Powder

The First Medicine monograph in our country Shen Nong’s herbal classic pointed out that some drugs are suited to be made into pills,while some are suited to powder.The powder is not only one of dosage forms,but also a type of medicinal slices.It is called as Traditional Chinese medicine powder.Traditional Chinese medicine powder could be made into other preparations,directly drunk with boiled water or medicine soup,and fried with other medicine.It’s used widely because it has the character of improving efficiency,saving medicinal resources,flexible compatibility,avoiding other people identifying drugs and leading to prescription leakage,and it especially suitable for poor water soluble effective component or the herbs whose component may be influenced when it is heated.It causes a huge social benefit and economic benefit.Today,Traditional Chinese medicine powder clinical application has become more and more wide.But it’s too difficult for you to distinguish plaster,pellet,pill or powder,Traditional Chinese medicine powder hasn’t the quality evaluation system to avoid the fake adulteration and ensure the safety and effectiveness.Traditional Chinese medicine Powder quality judgment and regulation is a bottleneck problem for the further development.In my subject,I chose plant medicine Fritillaria Cirrhosa and mineral medicine cinnabar which are often used in powder medicine as my research object.The main research contents are as followed:1.The quality evaluation demonstration research of Fritillaria CirrhosaFritillaria Cirrhosa is a precious medicinel,and the adulteration is a very common phenomenon.The adulteration phenomenon become more serious after Fritillaria Cirrhosa being crushed into powder.But there is no standard which can identify the adulteration.In this paper,it’s the first systematic study on quality evaluation of Fritillaria Cirrhosa powder.According to the survey,Fritillaria Cirrhosa powder often choose Fritillaria delavayi Franch to powder,so we choose Fritillaria delavayi as the object.According to the literature and market survey,adulteration ways which may be used such as adding dextrin,talcum powder,starch,wheat flour,magnesium stearate,wood,Soil,rice flour,Fritillaria thunbergii miq powder,and Fritillaria ussuriensis powder into Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder are used to make adulteration samples.We had used routine examination,scanning electron microscope,electronic tongue technology,differential scanning calorimetry,DNA molecular techniques,infrared spectroscopic techniques,terahertz radiation to start series of research in order to explore and search for suitable identifying technology for the Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder,and establish the quality evaluation method.First of all,carry out the examination such as water content,alcohol extract,ash content,ect.Through the water and alcohol extract can identify the phenomenon that adding talcum powder,wheat flour,magnesium stearate,wood,Soil,rice flour.If sophisticate talcum powder or soil in Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder,The ash content will increase,and with the increase of adulteration ratio increased obviously.Scanning electron microscopy(sem)is suitable to identifying the adulteration product by the characteristics.Measure the electronic tongue sensor response values for each sample,and start PCA,DFA discriminant factor and SQC data statistical analysis to objectify taste feature of Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder and adulterated product to identify to them.Using infrared spectrum technology to identify the characteristic peak of Fritillaria Cirrhosa powder and adulteration,except adding the Fritillaria thunbergii miq powder and Fritillaria ussuriensis powder,other samples have characteristic absorption peak.So the characteristic absorption peaks comparasion can identify if it is adulterated.Similarity analysis,clustering analysis and PCA analysis can identify obviously the samples which is added with soil,wheat flour,talcum powder,wood,magnesium stearate.DNA molecular techniques is used to identify Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder and adulteration.It reflects the accuracy of the DNA molecule technology,but as long as the sample contains the sample of the Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder,the results show the similar stripe.Therefore,the DNA molecular identification methods in "pharmacopoeia of China〞can be used to identify different varieties of samples,but it’s difficulty to identify Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder with unknown matter.Differential scanning calorimetry is used to identify Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder and the results show that enthalpy change value is different for different Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder adulterations.So the DSC can identify different falsify,specially the enthalpy change value of Fritillaria thunbergii miq powder with the Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder have the largest difference.DSC is a fast and effective method to identify Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder.This paper firstly introduced the terahertz technology into the identification of traditional Chinese medicine powder,and different adulterated terahertz present different characteristics of the absorption peaks.By terahertz technology can quickly and effectively identify the sample quality,and has carried on the PCA analysis,clustering analysis to terahertz information,the results showed that Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder is the most similar with Fritillaria thunbergii miq powder and rice flour.The terahertz technology can distinguish with different samples,and suit to identify Chinese traditional medicine powder.The quality standard draft of Fritillaria delavayi Franch is established.The requirements of moisture and total ash content is improved on the basis of Fritillaria Cirrhosa powder.The water requirements of Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder shall not surpass 9.0%,the total ash content shall not be over 3.0% for higher standard.It is suggested that increase infrared spectrum identification and differential scanning calorimetry to identify Fritillaria delavayi Franch powder.And in practical application,we can combine terahertz technology,electronic tongue identify the quality of the Chinese medicine powder.Finally,quality evaluation model is established to identify the herbal powder quickly and promote the applicaiton of identifying herb Panax pseudo-ginseng.2.The quality evaluation demonstration research of mineral medicine cinnabarMineral medicine cinnabar is often broken into powder or refined with water and for direct taking.It also can used as a drug or auxiliary materials for the preparation ofpill,tablets preparation,etc.But many fake products appeared in the market.In this pape,we collected different samples of cinnabar and made the High-quality cinnabar samples into different size samples,including the fine powder,superfine powder and powder-refining with water samples and checked the characters,identification,examination and determination of the aspects of cinnabar for the Quality Standard.According to the characteristics of examination,the physical and chemical identification,iron salts test,microscopic identification,pigment can distinguish fake product and identify the added pigment.Through series of research it can be determined that No.1,2,3,6 samples are adulterants which is made by 808 scarlet pigment,No.5 and 9 samples are added with impurities and 808 scarlet pigment,and No.11 sample is added impurities,No.4,7,8,10,13,14,16 samples are authentic cinnabar,No.12 and 15 samples are false cinnabar.The physical and chemical identification and content determination can preliminarily judge the quality of cinnabar.Compared with the plant medicine Fritillaria Cirrhosa,mineral medicine quality evaluation of cinnabar is relatively easy.Finally,the quality standard draft of cinnabar is established.It is suggesting that increase microscopic identification and pigment examination.Finally,quality evaluation model is established to identify the mineral medicine powder quickly and promote the application.To sum up,thesis researched on the quality evaluation demonstration research of plant medicine Fritillaria Cirrhosa and mineral medicine cinnabar in order to explore quality evaluation method for Chinese medicine powder and put an end to fake adulteration.It is representativeness and forward-looking.
