Monographic Study On The Custom And The Poetry Of The Northern Song Dynasty

Custom was closely connected with poetry.This paper based on this perspective,discussed the impact of the custom of the northern song dynasty on poetry,through several monographic study.This paper was divided into eight parts:The exordium defined the custom in the northern song dynasty,which was the vulgar behavior habits,psychological and spiritual temperament of a social group and effected by natural environment and social conditions.In addition,the exordium analyzed the origin and research status on the selected topic,and determined the basis,train of thought and method on the research.The first chapter,it discussed the impact of the tea drinking custom on poetry.First of all,it reviewed the origin and development of the tea fashion in the period of the northern song dynasty.It mainly performed that the tea fashion moved down,the etiquette,refinement and artistic strengthened,and the further development of the history of tea science.Secondly,it discussed the theme orientation on the tea poetry on this background,which registered as secularization,academic and philosophical.Again,it pointed out that tea poetry composed by elegant and vulgar,advocated subtle art gimmick in the northern song dynasty.Finally,it explored the meaning of tea fashion into poetry,from the perspective of the fit between tea and mind,the elegant for common.The second chapter,it discussed the impact of the collection on poetry.It was mainly performed that collection and research led to the prosperity of the poems on metal and stone and poems in paintings and calligraphy in the period.It also affected the theme content and artistic style of these two kinds of poetry.This paper discussed the strength of the academic nature,historic,philosophical factors from the angle that the flowing deformation on Poetry on Stone Drums from the Tang Dynasty to Song.This paper discussed the connection between collection research and poems in paintings and calligraphy in theme content and artistic style on the northern song dynasty from the perspective of the Mi Fu.The third chapter,it discussed the impact of the Saint Day on poetry.In the period of the northern song dynasty,the Saint Day had completed formation,and presented the characteristics of the official,standardized and ritual.This phenomenon had brought the sharp increase in the number of poetry during the Saint Day.This part of poetry,in terms of content,had given priority to praise,at the same time displayed the feelings and truth,and mixed with the personal political ideas.In terms of artistic techniques,the poetry had taken the structure of fixed mode,and mixed imagination with realism,myths with facts.In addition,the finalization of the Saint Day reflected that the rulers attached great importance to the construction of filial piety and Etiquette in the northern song dynasty.It promoted the national communication,affected the traditional folk custom and indirectly affected the other subjects of poetry.The forth chapter,it discussed the impact of the lantern festival on poetry.From the tang to song dynasty,the characteristics of the ritual and commercial were strengthened on lantern festival.At the same time,it adopted a policy of universal in the pleasure.The aesthetic view of people changed from the grand to the subtle.These extended the theme of the poem on lantern festival,which presented the care of palace section,sufferings of the people state,commodity trading,life trivia,emotion and so on.In addition,because of the need of content expression,the artistic techniques of the poetry had a new change.Such as subtle image,complex combinations,the use of contrast,variety of styles and so on.The fifth chapter,it discussed the impact of regional customs on poetry in Mei Yaochen and Su Shi as a case.In terms of Mei Yaochen,his poems of regional customs,had covered the area about forty,involved customs including many fields.Regional customs in his poetry creation,had become the theme or important part of the poem,or carried with reality and politics,or acted as a catalyst inspiring philosophizing.In terms of Su Shi,the regional customs of Chu-Shu,Wu-Yue,and Lingnan,which had a far-reaching influence in writing.Regional customs enriched poems content,also affected his poems theory and the poetry style.The sixth chapter,it discussed the impact of the elegant meetings on custom poetry in Ouyang Xiu and Su Shi as case.In terms of the elegant meetings centered on Ouyang Xiu,the host of the Five old meeting in Suiyang and the creation of related poetry,which marked the role of the elegant meetings in promoting the custom poetry's creation and dissemination.The Mid-Autumn festival moon banquet and the food of car chelas,participants' customs poetry show common orientation,which indicated that the elegant meetings provided an important platform for the poet to exchange views.In terms of the elegant meetings centered on Su Shi,there were three stages,before 1072,from 1073 to 1085,from 1086 to 1094.The close combination of the elegant meetings and the custom poetry,which directly or indirectly affected the creation and development track of the custom poetry.It made the custom poetry presented different characteristics in different stage on the elegant meetings.The conclusion inducted rules that customs affected the poetry creation in front of the six projects,added other customs and poetry data.On the one hand,the article discussed some questions about the custom of the northern song dynasty,which presented the characteristics of the official and standardized was strengthening,lots of custom class work appeared,refinement and artistic became an aesthetic trend.On the other hand,the article discussed the influence of the customs of the northern song dynasty on poetry creation,which were custom promoted the prosperity and spread of poetry creation,enriched poems content,and affected the poetry style.
