The Identity Research Of The Northwestern Minority Officer In Song Dynasty

10-13 century is an important period of the ancient Chinese ethnic fusion,a lot of Northwest minority officers joined in the Song Dynasty,accepted the rule,seeked survival and development space.Human identities are multiple and changeable,so they would produce new identities in a new social environment.This is mainly concerned with two aspects:one is that the Song Dynasty absorbed northwestern minority officer actively.Through the design of political system,The Song Dynasty accepted gradually,shaped the northwest borderland officer,and the identity of northwest borderland officer has experienced a transition from minority officer to Han officer during the Northern Song Dynasty,then to the Southern Song Dynasty,which was three stages totally.The other is from the northwestern tribe to the minority officers to minority officer family groups and the individuals which added the new elements to the identity.First of all,under the rule of the Song Dynasty,the northwestern tribes went out from family membership dispersion,not disclosing in the state.Boardland citizens gradually accepted some daily spiritual life style of the Han Chinese,and formed tendency of regional and national identity.Secondly,the northwest minority officers were willing to accept the rule of Song Dynasty,and integrated into the country actively through battle achievements,inter ethnic marriage,ethnic communication,constructing new historical memory and tried to exploit the living resources and living space from the dynasty.The northwestern minotity officers,built loyal and patriotic ideas to a certain extent through the affiliation with Song Dynasty.The contidition was in intergenerational continuity,therefore,some minority officer families converted millitary officers to civil officials,which highly adapted to the Song Dynasty characteristics of the times of advocating culture and restricting millitary force.Overall,the northwestern minority officers can adapt the new status in the Song Dynasty society,and form a more stable identity,which was also an important manifestation of ethnic fusion.But the several minority officers remained highly ethnic awareness,or were stricted the Song Dynasty on the consciousness of debate between Chinese and minority people,who were not well integrated into the Song society,so they had identity dilemma on the song dynasty.
