Research On Contemporary Chinese Culturel Conservatism

The ideological trend of cultural conservatism is a kind of cultural trend along with the Western capitalist modernization and expansion,which is characterized by identification,regression and defending the national cultural tradition.Modern China has been influenced a lot,and made new progress at that time.Contemporary Chinese cultural conservatism has a wide range of influence,and its practice is strong,the schools are complex,the influence is profound.Therefore,Contemporary Chinese cultural conservatism has been known as the most important three ideological trends in contemporary China with Marxism and Western liberalism.In the 1990 s,with the process of socialist modernization,cultural conservatism revived impressively after ten years' disappearance in mainland China.The broad sense of cultural conservatism refers to the social ideological trend followed by Confucianism and holding high the banner of “respecting Confucianism and respecting Confucianism” to open up new Chinese traditional culture.The narrow sense specifically refers to the contemporary Neo-Confucian Neo-Confucianism.This article focuses on the broad sense of cultural conservatism.The heat of study of Chinese culture promoted by contemporary cultural conservatism and the heat of reading the text have enabled people to rethink the future of traditional Chinese culture as they relive the charm of traditional culture.This article attempts to focus on the realistic public foundation of contemporary cultural conservatism.On the basis of clarifying the pedigree and development context of contemporary cultural conservatism,it elaborates its adherence to traditional culture and nationalism,rebuilds Confucian teachings and humanistic spirit,and criticizes democratic politics and religion.Feelings and other characteristics,emphasis on its influence in the new media era and the right to speak,its rationality and limitations are analyzed.We believe that contemporary cultural conservatism has both positive and negative effects.Confucianism and traditional culture have contemporary values.They are rich in philosophical thoughts,humanistic spirits,and moral concepts.They can provide useful insights for people to understand and transform the world and provide useful enlightenment for governing the country.However,in recent years,the idea of reforming Confucianism and even "reforming" China has been proposed.This has created a reality that challenges the mainstream ideological status of Marxism.Contemporary cultural conservatism is impossible,and it can not solve the problems of contemporary China's development.It must scientifically evaluate and lead it to play an active role in contributing to the building of socialist culture.To achieve the guidance of contemporary cultural conservatism,it is necessary to start from the aspects of the relationship between cultural conservatism and traditional culture,and to fully grasp the aspects of correct understanding,scientific evaluation,reasonable nheritance,and cultural sharing.It organically promotes the development of excellent traditional culture and the development of the advanced socialist culture,and accordingly puts forward the core of socialism.The value system leads the way of contemporary cultural conservatism,roposes and makes feasible the integration of Marxism and traditional Chinese culture from the point of view of communication,in order to cope with the severe challenge of contemporary cultural conservatism.Marxists in contemporary China should inherit the essence of traditional culture.At the same time,they should also thoroughly criticize their dross.Under the historical background of globalization,under the guidance of the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping,we should actively inject modern value elements into traditional culture,carry out creative transformation and innovative development,and make contemporary Chinese cultural conservative thoughts become socialist culture.The beneficial forces in construction are developed in an orderly manner,providing spiritual support and cultural guarantee for the modernization of the country,and making positive contributions to the realization of the "Chinese Dream" of great rejuvenation.
