The "New Documentary Revolution" in the field of Chinese documentary originated in the early 1990s.Based on the position of“distinguishing'individuals'from'the people'",many bottom individuals and marginal lives were shot and written into history by many directors.The life process of the other developed in the scene frame has gained its own foundation and become a historical,transcendental and generative existence that transcends heterogeneous representation.The new documentary pierces dual masks of former imagination mode about Chinese borderland from the two directions of the others'subjectivity and the space-production of the borderland.The new documentary constructs not only the simple relationship between "see" and "be seen" of visible facts,but also the mode of'see"and "ask"through imaginations.lt makes the”alien"and"other" combine with the self through the thinking of documentary,then breed "nymphs"which is"changing lives" between the prototype and the repetitions.The "nymphs" is metaphors for a dialectical relationship between the finite past and infinite future,and innovate the spatial semantics of the borderland by remodeling of imagination.In the phenomenological perspective of"facing the reality itself',the beings of"alien"and"otherness"go beyond their anthropological knowledge attributes and become the object of thought.The imagination of the signifier ignites the dark light between the image fissures,"illuminating the theatricality in the endless factsH--the myth of"daily lives"in the name of"final".The existing one is the last-this universal imagination leads to two results:one is the the rhetoric of"final"of,and the other is the existence of"final".The former contains all the"past"and seals infinite"fixture",becomes the subject of the vulgar myth induced by"imaginary anachronism"which is low-level reality without changes;while the latter refers to the past and the future at the same time.The world is not only"the dasein understood as surroundings",but also"real presence of things in the future" illuminated by the time-images.Final is also primary.In the future sense,its potential for"reinventing"always makes "old things"different in the same way.The"relationship between man and the world"contains the dual dimension of time and space,and this key old thing is being reinvented by"Modernity"."Final,video recorded the conflict,anxiety,pain and loss caused by the generation of local alien and modem nomad.It projects the“universality of concreteness”with the idea,spirit and meaning,constituted common reality of the other and the self.In this sense,video heterotopias which the self is inherent and outside simultaneously indicate a common subjectivity-crisis facing the other and the self---the body is becoming exploited and manipulated device.Because of the diminishing marginal effect of modernity,the foreign body has not been completely written into the social system,is showing more differences,reverses,rebellion and destruction.It indicates the possibility that the body becomes the key field of moden nomadic struggle.As a mirror of survival,while the new documentary becomes a battle space,mingling with dream and reality,existence and non-existence,symbol and imagination,dual heterotopias of video and body,both real and fictional.
