Research On Semantic Organization Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Video Resources

With the development of digital preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage,video and image resources play an important role in the preservation,inheritance and dissemination of ICH.At present,there are some problems in the organization of ICH video resources,such as lack of semantic information,weak relevance,limitation of knowledge representation,etc.With the explosive growth of video resources in ICH domain,the storage,organization,utilization and dissemination of massive multi-source heterogeneous ICH video resources have become the focus of research.How to transfer those massive ICH video resources from isolated data to semantically aggregated data has become an important problem in the field of ICH digitization.This paper introduced the concept and technology of ontology and linked data,and proposed the idea and method system of semantic organization of ICH video resources,aiming at solving the difficult problem of storage and management of unstructured video resources.The unstructured video data is transformed into a structured video semantic unit through the process of extracting the video knowledge elements,semantic video annotation,construction and publishing of linked data.It changes the traditional way of coarse-grained semantic description of video resources,going deep into the knowledge element level,and combines the concept of ICH domain knowledge with the semantic information of video content.Firstly,the paper summarized the research status of ICH video resource organization and domain ontology research about ICH both at home and abroad,analyzing and summarizing the existing problems and shortcomings of the research on ontology of ICH and the organization of ICH video resources;Secondly,the knowledge element theory,ontology and linked data theory and technology are elaborated to lay the theoretical and technical foundation of this paper.Thirdly,the theories and structures of video knowledge element of ICH were analyzed,and Multi Visual Features-Based shot segmentation method was used to decompose the video resources.Fourthly,this paper studied all kinds of entities,attributes and relationships in the ICH domain,designing and constructing an ontology model of ICH video resources semantic organization,which provides a macroscopic unified Specific and standard description model for semantic video description and annotation.Fifthly,on the basis of semantic description of video knowledge element,the key technologies of constructing and publishing video resource linked data are studied,and the semantic organization prototype system of ICH video resource is established.Finally,this paper chose"Yunxi Qixi Festival" as a research case,and made an empirical study on the semantic organization of video resources about "Yunxi Qixi Festival",which verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the theory and method of semantic organization of ICH video resources proposed in this paper.The innovation and main features of the paper are reflected in the following three aspects:(1)Introducing the concept and theory of knowledge element into the field of ICH video resource organization,this paper proposed a method and an idea of extracting video knowledge element of ICH,in order to organize the video resource at the Fine-grained level.This paper analyzed the meaning and structure of video knowledge element of ICH,and defined its formal representation.Through the research on video knowledge element theory and extraction technology,the transformation of ICH video resources from information organization to knowledge organization is promoted,and the theoretical system of digital preservation of ICH and knowledge element field is enriched.(2)Based on Semantic Web Ontology theory,an ontology model for semantic organization of ICH video resources is designed and constructed.The ontology model is a formal,explicit specification of a shared conceptualization of ICH,it explicitly expresses of the ICH domain concepts involved in the video content and the semantic relationships between concepts.The ontology model is designed to provide a unified standard and description model for semantic description,Multidimensional semantic association and semantic revealing of ICH video resource.(3)This paper proposed a new semantic organization method of ICH video resources,which is based on ontology and driven by linked data technology.This method can realize the data conversion from unstructured video data to structured data,solving the problems of lack of semantic information and relations between the video resources.Through the semantic organization of video resources,the relevance,openness and availability of ICH video resources can be improved Through the case study of "Yunxi Qixi Festival",verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the theory and method of semantic organization of ICH video resources proposed in this paper.The semantic organization can realize the effective management and efficient utilization of ICH video resources,strengthening the semantic links between video resources and domain concepts,improving the accessibility,sharing and openness of ICH video resources.The study has important research value and practical significance for providing new knowledge services based on video resources and the dissemination and inheritance of ICH.
