Religion and sports are the basics to constitute and social well beings and religious values are very much inherited in sports ideology.Therefore,a great understanding about the fact that the attitude towards sports and other activities among religious girls are often influenced by the religious factors.Islam is the most renowned and one of the largest religions of the World.In general,Islam promotes a healthier lifestyle by encouraging physical activities for both men and women because sport represents religious values like character development,hard work,perseverance as well as qualities and behavior.In Muslim societies,it is of great importance to girls how to structure their lifestyles according to religious beliefs and values;it is the fundamental principle of their identity.Pakistan is Muslim society and female participation and success stories in National and International level sports events are much lesser than other countries.This present study aimed to estimate the hurdles facing Pakistani Muslim female's preference towards sports,parental concerns concerning female participation in sports.This study principally aimed to identify the parental problems of the female in connection to their participation in sports in Pakistan.In addition to that,the following were some of the objectives of this particular study:a)To determines the interests of playing sports among Muslims female of Pakistani society,b)To analyze the role of Religion influencing the sport interest among female community,c)Finds out the problems faced by the females regarding their participation in sport and physical activities.The sample of the study comprised three different age groups'.A representative random sample of 2000 female belongs to rural and urban community of Pakistan were selected and participated in the study.For data collection,two questionnaires on a basic personal point scale for the female population were evolved.The study concluded that religion has a great influence along with other adjoining factors are social,culture and financial which might directly and indirectly have impacted on over all female performance in sports among Pakistani society.Both the groups of the respondents agreed that physical activities are having prime influences on the perspective development of cognition,psychomotor and emotional aspects,however,overall Urban Muslim community have much better response than Rural.Similarly,in family(parents)and institutions(teacher)are providing much constructive role in this regard.On the other hand,the community like neighbor,friends and family members after marriage might restrict them due to their social,cultural responsibilities in particular.The study determined that socio-cultural variables are more active barriers compared to the religious.The study reveals that almost all the participants expressed the importance of sport and physical education for Muslim girls;however,they emphasized the need to facilitate them from Government and Society in according with their religious obligations.
