Objective:At present,National government focus on the development research of children and adolescents'physical health,and the State Council point that children and adolescents must be an important group in the National Fitness Program,and the society should promote children and adolescents sports in order to improve their physical fitness.However,children with intellectual disability are lack of sports motivation,enthusiasm and consciousness for sport participation because of the limited of cognitive competence.Therefore,it is necessary to understand their sports psychological need and characteristics,in order to provide physical and psychological education with scientific methods,develop their athletic ability,enhance their sport motivation,and improve level of their sport participation.Floorball,as a team sport,has the characteristics of higher social contact,safety and interesting,which fit well with children with intellectual disability.Therefore,this study explores if the floorball training could have an impact on children with mild intellectual disability and their sport motivation and attitude,and help them participating more sports.Methods:39 children with mild intellectual disability,who come from primary and secondary schools in Shanghai,were randomly divided into the experimental group?n=20?and the control group?n=19?,the experimental group completed floorball training for a period of 16 weeks,while the control group carried out the original routine physical education activities and maintained the original habits during the same time.Measured test indicators,including experimental group and the control group's physical activity,sport motivation,sport attitude,at pretest-posttest.Based on data analysis,compared the changing between two groups'sport participation.Result:?1?There were significant interaction between times and groups in amotivation(F(1,37)=4.67,P=0.037),and simple effect analysis showed that experimental group got lower score than control group after training.There were significant interaction between times and groups in internal motivation?F?1,37?=7.14,P=0.011?,however,experimental group got higher score than control group after training.It means the experimental group had a marked improvement in its sport motivation.?2?There were significant interaction between times and groups in the reaction times of pleasant for sport pictures(F?1,37?=6.83,P=0.013).After training,experimental group got more times than control group,so it means that experimental group had improvement in sport attitude.?3?There were significant interaction between times and groups in total physical activity time(F1,37</sub>=4.91,P=0.033),and simple effect analysis showed that after training,experimental group had a longer total physical activity time than control group.After training,the experimental group had significant difference in the high level of physical activity time?P=0.005?,whereas control group didn't?P>0.05?.It means that the experimental group had significant change in physical activity.Conclusion:The floorball can have impact on sport motivation and attitude of children with mild intellectual disability by reducing level of their amotivation,increasing internal motivation and active responding for sports.At the same time,the floor ball can make change at their motion behavior by increasing their high level of physical activity.
