Research On Family In The Xixia Dynasty

Family is a basic social production and living unit based on marriage and blood relationship.As an important link connecting the society and individuals,family is not isolated and absolutely closed to the world.The economy,culture,politics and other aspects of the society will have an impact on the family,and the family will reflect the relevant social development,rise and fall and changes through a prism.This paper mainly discusses the family from four aspects: family form,family member relationship,family livelihood and family education.The first chapter focuses on the family marriage,analysis of production and family form and other issues.It is pointed out that from the aspects of marriage form,age of marriage,scope of mate selection and marriage procedure,etc.,the marriage factors in the customs of the central plains collide with the Xixia original marriage and promote its qualitative change.Marriage,as the initial stage of the family,is more normative and orderly.Under the influence of central plains culture,Xixia advocated cohabitation and common wealth,but did not adhere to it.In the real life,family separation and production became the mainstream trend,and the family separation and production in Xixia showed the characteristics of The Times that the procedure was relatively simple and the cycle was relatively short.Correspondingly,the family structure of Xixia Dynasty was based on the nuclear family in which father and son lived together for two generations,which was derived from the family of husband and wife.The individual family structure of Xixia Dynasty was relatively simple and the family size was small,and the family population was about four.The second chapter mainly examines the main interpersonal relationships of the Xixia families,including the specific contents of husband and wife,parents and children,brothers,etc.,which can clearly perceive the role of Confucian ethical factors in the handling of family relations of the Xixia people.Confucian ethics become rule of man moral thoughts and practice is an important part of scale,reflects the Xixia inherent in traditional concept on the basis of absorption and internalization of Confucian Confucian ideas and norms,in the form a different from the original values,make it more suitable for the improvement of Xixia social development under thebackground of the family order and establish and maintain social order.The third chapter mainly investigates the family livelihood,especially the quantity of family land and family income and expenditure.Economy is the foundation for the foundation,development and ceaseless development of the family.In the Xixia Dynasty,the family income was dominated by material income,and the family expenditure mainly included productive expenditure and living consumption expenditure.The material production and consumption of the family reflected the actual living standard of the people.Constrained by the natural environment and long-term war and other factors,the living standard of the ordinary families in the Xixia Dynasty was in a low level or even a poor state.The fourth chapter focuses on the family education and social character in the Xixia Dynasty.It is pointed out that in the family education of the Xixia Dynasty,the teaching and dissemination of Confucian ethics and Confucian cultural knowledge were complemented by Confucian ethics.As a whole,through the family details in the daily life place,we can grasp the Xixia10 to 13 century in the multicultural trend of collision and fusion of the sublimation of the own cultural fusion and heterogeneous cultural communication in order to better cope with the development of society and change,and on the basis of the construction of family order and social order.
