A Study Of Transgender Writing In Female Novels In The New Century

In the new century,some factors resulted in the subtly changes of Chinese female literature of the new century,especially the female novels.These factors are ubiquitous postmodern cultural context,new liberalism caused by economic globalization,business and consumer culture hegemony monopolizing the people's thinking and way of life,and a dormant period of western women literature and feminism.In the view and background of globalization,we can see the possibility and even necessity of these changes.These changes in gender consciousness and the resulting shift in fiction writing can be described as the super gender-writing.The super gender-writing is a kind of female writing based on and beyond the general female gender consciousness.The super gender-writing makes many female writers no longer confine to the resistance and struggle against male power to find a world oriented to the history of women.The creations of female writers start from monism to pluralism,from self to society,from inside to outside.This has become an important strategy and possible approach to women's writing under the premise that the existing social gender order has not been changed.In the new century,the writing of women's historical novels is dominated by long novels,which is the necessity of the self-development of women's fiction writing.Faced with the awe of history,she carefully chose her own narrative discourse,and always kept a clear attitude and skeptical spirit towards history.The historical narration of women's discourse in the new century gradually approached the truth of women's existence,and obtained a variety of interpretations of women's history.The writing of women's historical novels mainly includes three aspects: family history narrative,personal growth narrative and post-revolutionary history narrative.Women family narrative novels are no longer stuck to one-way narrative of the female family history,but present a much broader,a thorough analysis of the social history and life,such as the rural traditional culture carrying forward under the background of wars,traces and description of the historical origins of folk wares,reproduction for minority private life,etc.The narrative of personal growth still continues the writing track of women's personal growth novels in the 1990 s,but the description of female growth in history is more about the recognition of female self-subject and self-identity that arrogation of male history to realize the value of life.The postrevolutionary historical narration expresses the new interpretation of the war and political history of the 20 th century by female writers in the new century.Although women are still the main perspective of historical narration,the historical dimension of attention and radiation in the works are enlarged,which show the reduction and discrimination of the social and political history dominated by men.In the new century,women's rural novels have gained the rights and opportunities in the changing rural situation and farmers' life in the reality of continuous urbanization and urbanization in rural areas.Due to the great diversity and multifaceted nature of the countryside in different regions and different writers' perspective,this paper divides it into four parts for interpretation: the oral record,the migrant work,the sojourn life and the contemporary rural epic.The oral record as a nonfiction novel,is female novels in loss of rural labor force of the present,the severe economic dislocation,the gap between rich and poor,the cultural consciousness of all sorts of practical problems such as the real records and panorama reappearance.And it is the most objective and rational realistic text in the new century which abandoning individual female color.The description of the migrant work and the sojourn life shows the real situation of the interaction and circulation between cities and villages in the current society,as well as the difficult survival of local people in the collision and refutation of different cultures.Based on the female subject and female perspective,it is the basic feature of this part of writing to show a relatively open real life.The contemporary rural epic is the historical consciousness and cultural standpoint of the female writers to express themselves and to criticize the rural fable of the end of the countryside and the malfeasance of the times,revealing the women's compassion and humanistic pursuit.The female urban novels in the new century show a more rational and prudent description attitude towards urban culture and modern civilization.Urban culture brings the material survival mode of modern consumption society with irresistible force,reconstructs the basic life style and thinking concept of modern people.Female writing is also inevitably infected with or enveloped in decadent urban atmosphere.There are three types of female urban novels: the female material desire writing,the female intellectual growth stories and the survival of urban nobody.The female material writing describes the degradation and resistance of women in the city.How the urban makes gender commercialization and how women introspection and growth in the environment of oppression and distortion are the theme of this part,which also are the most common and most extended themes of urban novels.The female intellectual growth stories are the most profound part of female urban novels in terms of ideological depth and artistic achievements.It shows the fact that female writers still write with female narration as the main literary expression when facing the urban era.The description of the living conditions of unban bottom nobody is the most gender-transcendental content in the female urban novels,and it also points out a way for the urban novels.Of course,compared with the historical narration and the local narration,it must be admitted that the division and research on the narration of urban women's novels is far from enough,which is also inseparable from the multiple and complicated reality of the description theme,content and corresponding value judgment of urban literature itself.In a word,on the basis of female consciousness and female survival,the creation of female novels in the new century expresses the concern and interpretation of the broader social life.In the process of constantly explaining and interpreting the external world,it has gained a deeper understanding of women's survival and a clearer understanding and thinking of gender consciousness.The super gender-writing has brought a broad writing prospect for female novels,but at the same time,it will weaken women's criticism and vigilance against the patriarchal society on the whole.
