An Approach To The Aesthetic Implication Of The Art Of Verbal Language Expression

Verbal language is an oral and sounding form of language,which originated in the early stages of human development and is the most frequently applied and most convenient means of information transfer.Human communications and information transfers with vocal language cover verbal expression,speeches,elocution,negotiation,debate,report,broadcast,program hosting,dubbing,commentary,telephone operation,tourist guidance,customer service,storytelling,radio drama,audio books,teaching,simultaneous interpretation,etc.which all belong to category of the verbal language art.Respective staff take full advantages of verbal language art to fulfill their professional requirement,as well as aesthetic pleasure.Today's China becomes the second largest economic entity in the world,so Chinese and its artistic expression draw eager attentions.As a result,the expressive art of verbal language is increasingly noticeable from various points of view in the whole society.In this thesis the aesthetic significance of the art of verbal language expression is taken as the study object,and China's ancient aesthetic poetic aesthetic ideology and modern aesthetic theory are introduced as supporting ideas,cognitive basis and interpretative grounds.This thesis aims to focus on the aesthetic representation,aesthetic formation,aesthetic pursuit,and aesthetic effect of verbal language expression,according to established achievements.The three essential domains of “appropriateness”,“harmony” and “beauty” in traditional Chinese aesthetic theories are applied to integrate and clarify the aesthetic traits of the creator as a subject,the artworks as an object and the medium in the art of verbal language expression.The purpose is to enhance the functions and values in different stages,and integrate the three elements clearly and logically,in order to further study the aesthetic traits of the art of verbal language expression.In the creation the expressive art of verbal language,the subject's control of oral cavity,pronunciation,resonance,flexibility,and the application of internal and external techniques and devices should follow the aesthetic rule of “appropriateness”,which demands obedience,moderation and balanced.In this way,artistic works embody the state of “harmony”,which trigger the aesthetic pleasure,and reconcile “beauty” with “harmony”,generating the sense of “beauty”.It is in the initial stages that the verbal language art has been developing,so the references are not adequate.Therefore,we are supposed to resort to the aesthetics in the classical Chinese poetry and lyrics for further development from various perspective.Some case studies of the art of verbal language expression are specifically and comparatively analyzed,aiming to reveal and illuminate that the art of verbal language expression,has already become a significant and independent artistic form.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the aesthetic implication of verbal language expression,and establish the corresponding theoretical foundations in aesthetics.Meanwhile,with the competitions and challenges of rapidly developing intelligent verbal techniques,it is urgent to state the appropriateness and the prospects of the art of verbal language expression,in order to promote the further advancement and sustainable prosperity of the art of verbal language expression.On the other hand,brief analysis from theoretical or practical perspectives can scarcely fulfill the realistic requirements.Only the renewal of the methodology and reconstruction of the ideology are realized in terms of interdisciplinary synthesis of discourse resources,can the obstacles of this approach be finally overcome.
