Cyber technology era not only reflects the popularity and development of Internet technology,but also represents a trend of cultural integration.After the popularity of contemporary digital technology,the boundary between the virtual and the real is opened,while screen interface becomes an intermediary between the virtual world and the real world.In this context,vision-based screen culture springs up.The interface between human beings and computer is not only a separation,but also the shaping of a new culture and visual concept.Screen is not only a means of connection,but also an interface that serves as a display and movement platform for all information and media forms.In the cyber technology era,contemporary painting research focuses on profound influences and subversive effects generated by digital technology from a macro perspective.As Benjamin began the discussion,with new technologies,especially complex changes in relations among economy,politics and technology brought by screen culture,contemporary painting will focus more on the relationships between boundaries,subjects,painting itself and media technology in the cyber technology era.The popularity of screen incorporates personal digital information into the whole Internet,which deeply changes the way of information acquisition.Contemporary painting is no longer limited to flat canvases and is integrated with not only new digital technologies,but also a wide range of different media languages.Besides,it is closely related to not only the historical cultural context,but also contemporary popular culture.In cyber technology era,there are many changes in contemporary painting which is also equipped with numerous technology-related characteristics.Therefore,contemporary painting is no longer a pure discipline of art,and contemporary artists'painting practice has brought painting into other fields.
