The Exploration Of The Contemporaneity Of Localized Art

This thesis takes the artistic style characteristics and artistic evolution of Mr.Shang Yang,a famous Chinese oil painting artist,as the research topic,but it does not fix the ideas in the schematic interpretation of Shang Yang's art and his personal artistic experience,and also avoids the broad and empty stack of various related materials.It focuses on the works and characteristics of each representative stage of Shang Yang,and combines the cultural and social background of that time.It expounds and positions the characteristics of Shang Yang's artistic style and the reasons for its transformation and evolution from the perspective of historical development.The art style works of Shang Yang are academic combed and reviewed from the perspective of graphic research.First of all,the author systematically researches and combs the development of Shang Yang's art since the beginning of art through his personal resume.According to the important time nodes,Shang Yang's artistic style is divided into four parts:1? From the stage of Shang Yang's personal experience before the period of reform and opening-up,to the period of "Root seeking culture" with a sense of form represented by the series of styles of “the Yellow River boatman” and “Loess” after 1980.2? By the end of 1980's,the “Formalism" represented by the "State" series,which used the way of ready-made products and tested the properties of materials.3? After 1990,take “Grand scenery” series as the starting point of his mature style,and extended to the period of “conceptualism” in many creative series.4? Since 2000,the comprehensive artistic styles of “Dong Qichang plan” series and “Bad landscape” system have reached a stage of more organic combination of "Concept" and"Chineseness" in personal temperament and reaching a certain level of freedom.This stage isthe style change and promotion of Shang Yang's later year,which is the most important part of Shang Yang art.At the same time of systematically expounding the development of Shang Yang's art,this paper discusses the direct and indirect influence and function of Chinese Social Cultural Reformation on the development of art and Shang Yang as an important artist present.Mr.Shang Yang,as an artist since the development of China's New Art Movement since the1980 s,has always had an active desire for expression and strong artistic vitality.His personal art history has always been in the process of eclectic,constantly absorbing new art nutrition,self transformation and innovation.In Shang Yang's artistic exploration,he has been on the way of deviating from the traditional rules and attaching importance to self art construction.As a sensitive contemporary artist,it is obvious that there is a very complex internal relationship between the artistic exploration of continuous self transformation and the historical trend.But no matter in the "85 period" or in the contemporary art trend in the 1990 s,Shang Yang is not a trendsetter at the forefront,but is influenced by the contemporary trend of thought,and at the same time,it makes a rational reflection on the interaction between self and the contemporary trend of thought,which is the root that Shang Yang's art exploration can be continuously promoted on the basis of his own artistic talent.In his creative practice,Shang Yang connected the contemporary trend of thought with the psychology and temperament of traditional culture to form his ownunique style of contemporary context,showing the creation cases of artists in the new historical period to explore the unique development path of Chinese contemporary art.The artist Shang Yang's works are similar to the traditional Chinese painting "freehand brushwork".Through the expression of self psychological activity and body induction,it shows the concern for the local current culture.Shang Yang's exploration of the localization of experimental art provides experience for the innovation of Chinese painting art in cultural concept and expression mode,his creation is based on social reality.In the experimental and critical way of art,human nature in social reality can be expressed from various personalized aesthetic perspectives,and pay attention to the spiritual essence of individual life.As a case of the transformation of Chinese contemporary art,the artist Shang Yang's 40 years of art history is of practical significance,which provides a sample for Chinese painting to seek new possibilities of constructing contemporary value in the current cultural context.This thesis is realistic and targeted in the topic selection.The research of artists case combines history,philology,iconography and many other researches.Take various characteristics presented by Shang Yang's artistic style and development as examples.It provides useful ideas for the development and trend of Chinese art.
