A Study On Xi Jinping's Important Expositions Of The Socialist Ideology

Since its founding in 1921,the Communist Party of China has attached much importance to ideological work.Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,General Secretary Xi Jinping has emphasized the importance of ideological work in countless speeches,combined the objective practice of today's development in China with Marxism,and thus dialectically inherited Marxist ideology theory.This paper categorizes,summarizes and generalizes the important statements by Xi Jinping on socialist ideology in the new era,and then explores the practical paths of carrying out the ideological work.The first part is the interpretations of basic concepts(Chapters 1,2).The first chapter is the categorization and summary the ideology and related concepts;and it first analyzes Xi Jinping's statements on the socialist ideology,then attempts to analyze Xi Jinping's full understanding of the significance and functions of the ideology,and to study Xi Jinping's detailed statements on the full play that ideological work could be brought into.The second chapter explains the theoretical sources of Xi Jinping's explorations of socialist ideology,and analyzes the current domestic and international backgrounds in which ideological work and researches are carried out.The second part is about exploration of Xi Jinping's basic stances on socialist ideology(Chapters 3 and 4).Chapter 3 is the consolidation of the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology.Specifically,it first presents Xi Jinping's expositions on the inevitability and significance of Marxism's guiding position in the field of ideology,and secondly,based on Xi Jinping's important series of speeches that he has made,it has highly condensed the challenges faced by Marxism in the centralized guidance of the ideological field.Finally,it explores the concrete practices of consolidating the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology proposed by Xi Jinping.Chapter 4 is about Xi Jinping's statements of adherence to and development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Firstly,it expounds Xi Jinping's definitions of the basic connotation and extension of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.Secondly,it analyzes the necessity that Xi Jinping has pointed out of adherence to and development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Finally,it studies Xi Jinping's specific methods of persisting and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.The third part is Xi Jinping's discussions on the objectives and tasks of building socialist ideology(Chapters 5,6 and 7).Chapter 5 elaborates on Xi Jinping's summaries of the three levels of socialist core values,and studies their realization paths.Chapter 6 is about the centralized guidance of Marxism in the social trend of thoughts.It discusses Xi Jinping's refutation of some wrong thoughts,so that the people can clearly define their own positions,fight against the wrong trend of thoughts,and better apply Marxism to leading the social trend of thought.Chapter 7 is about Xi Jinping's expositions on ideology security.In view of the current misunderstanding of ideological work and the threat to the safety of ideological work,it is necessary to carry out the work in the field of ideological security in a clear-cut,multi-dimensional and multi-angle perspectives.The fourth part,e.g.Chapter 8,studies Xi Jinping's principles and methods of socialist ideology work and fully explores the major paths of carrying out socialist ideology work.In summary,based on a series of important speeches by General Secretary Xi Jinping since the 18th National Congress,combined with the analyses of the status quo at home and abroad,this paper studies and discusses the basic laws,objectives and tasks,and paths of carrying out China's socialist ideology work in the new situation.The aim of this paper is to build a complete theory of socialist ideology for the Party and country in the new era,to contribute to the work of the ideological theory of the new era,and to provide theoretical guarantee for the realization of the Chinese dream:the great rejuvenation of China.
