The logic of social development in China is to change the feudal and semi-feudal system based on the small-scale peasant economy in order to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation since modern times.The Chinese people have found the spirit banner of the nirvana of Chinese nation until Marxism was introduced into China after they struggled in the dark for a long time.Since the reform and opening,"alienation" in the spirit world of Marx and "the loss of human spiritual home" of Jaspers are disseminated widely in China.Marxism belief is facing serious challenges influenced by multiple factors.Peasants are the main member of Chinese society who contain huge political energy and determine China's political trend as the basic political power.To mobilize the peasants is our party's fine tradition and political advantage,and our party armed peasants with Marxism so we can gain a foothold to lead the Chinese people to victory in the revolution and construction.Marxism belief of peasants is related to the solidtion of our party's foundation and the construction of new socialist countryside and the realizing of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation for the Chinese nation as the largest social group.Therefore,research on Marxism belief cultivation of the contemporary Chinese peasants has important and far-reaching significance.We should clarify the basic theory of Marxism belief first when we research the problem of Marxism belief cultivation of peasants because it is the logical starting point of this paper.Belief can make us firm and pursuit some objects which reflect the individual value and the most beautiful society ideal so that guide our behavior.Marxism has theory legitimacy,practical legitimacy and text legitimacy as a belief.The Marxism belief is that people trust and believe in Marxism and as a guide in action.It contains: the conviction of the materialistic world,the yearning for communist society,the pursuit of people's free and all-round development,the conviction of socialist triumphalism,the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly,the trust in the proletariat political party and so on.The Marxism belief is a political belief essentially,and it realized the integrity of science and value,ideal and reality,individuality and sociality,ultimacy and periodic.Marxism belief cultivation of contemporary Chinese peasants has a profound theoretical basis.There are “the ideas of the ruling class is the dominant ideology in every era”,the theory of peasants' duality,the thought of establish the alliance of workers and peasants of Marx and Engels.There are the theory that socialist consciousness must be poured from outside,the theory of worker-peasant democratic dictatorship,belief education for peasants Communist Party of China.All of above laid the Marxist theoretical origin for this paper.In addition,the theory of emphasizing on people,national culture tradition,the ideals of Great Harmony in Chinese traditional culture,and the class consciousness theory,the cultural hegemony theory,the human modernization theory in western culture,have laid the ideological resources for Marxism belief cultivation of peasants.Contemporary Chinese rural society is in transition period,and the paesant group has appeared some new changes: stratification characteristics significantly,liquidity enhanced,rights awareness and values diversified increasingly.Under this background,we investigate the present situation of peasants' Marxism belief from basic cognition,attitudinal identity and behavior tendency by questionnaire survey.We found that the Marxism belief situation of contemporary Chinese peasants is not optimistic in overall situation or in basic cognition,attitudinal identity and behavior tendency dimension.Especially in identity dimensions of Marxism belief,we found the faith index to Socialism,the confidence index to the cause of Socialism with Chinese characteristics and the trust index to our party are in the range of low identity.There are many reasons for the crisis of peasants' Marxism belief,including the tortuous history of socialism's development,the profitability of market economy,the corruption within our party,the penetration of multiculturalism,the characteristics of peasants' ideology,the neglect of the Marxism belief education in rural.Peasants are not outside of the political world or at the edge of the political world.For a large peasant country as China,peasants have been the basic strength of the development of Chinese society.To cultivate the Marxism belief of contemporary peasants is the need to exert the main force of the modern construction,the needs to cultivate the new socialist peasants,the need to consolidate the ruling status of our party and the need to resist the infiltration of the western ideology.At the same time,the successful experience of cultivation in history,the vigorous development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the strong desire for belief of peasants have laid the possibility for Marxism belief cultivation of the contemporary peasants.Marxism belief is a political belief essentially,and political belief cultivation is a mean to maintain its own rule by any ruling class.Political belief cultivation in foreign country begins early,and the effect is obvious,and has accumulated many successful experiences.Whether capitalist countries in Europe and America or other socialist countries and cultural homologous countries,the government attaches great importance to the political beliefs cultivation,a variety of social organizations participate actively in the cultivation of political beliefs,political parties establish a good image to guide people's political beliefs,follow the scientific laws of political beliefs cultivation.All of above are successful experience in Marxism belief cultivation for us.We should emphasize Marxism belief cultivation of contemporary Chinese peasants.First,we should grasp accurately the principle of the benefit maintenance,discrimination,step by step,close to the actual in order to guide Marxism belief cultivation of paesants;Second,we should solid the material base,create a strong organization fortress,create a good cultural atmosphere and construct effective organization way to create a favorable environment for Marxism belief cultivation of peasants.Third,we should strengthen propaganda and education to manifest belief,integrate into the rural life to internalize belief,richen practical form to practice belief and build a long-term mechanism to solidify belief so that we can strengthen Marxism belief education of peasants.
