Belief as the core of axiology, centralized reflect the people's world outlook, outlook on life and values, is a spiritual prop and behavior guide, not only of the value of individual person, but also of the emotional and ideology characteristics of human beings and society. It maintains unity of nationalities and stabilization of states, and is the source of all the cohesion of the nations. So belief education become more urgently demanded by the development at the present time in our country.But being in a transitional period leading by the economic reform, the traditional content of belief education is unequipped for drastically changed life. Belief crisis has become a difficult issue of the generation. So discuss belief education is important to guide the whole society setting up the right ideal, building Harmonious Society, realize great revitalization of Chinese Nation.The paper defines the connotation, function and characteristic of belief and belief education, and inquires into the existing problems, study on the Methodology of belief education, and come to a conclusion to solve the problems. The article draws four measures to reinforcing belief education. That is raising its position, improving the method, cleansing the environment, and enriching the content.
