With the development of Web 2.0,large-scale social networks such as instant messaging tools(WeChat,QQ,etc.),social networking sites(Facebook,Weibo,etc.),community forums(Tianya,Douban,etc.)have sprung up,forming numerous Internet-based,online virtual social networks in various forms.Online social network provides a new path for the dissemination of information(exchange and sharing),and is becoming an important channel and carrier for the maintenance of social relations and information dissemination in human society.It also has a far-reaching impact on national security and social development.Information dissemination in online social networks is the dissemination of information relying on certain social relations,with scale-free feature,only a small fraction of nodes has the dominant right to speak,and is closely related to information dissemination.The impact of information dissemination is also playing an increasingly significant role,such as micro-blog big VIPs,community opinion leaders and so on.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to study the information dissemination mechanism,rules and the influence of key nodes in online social networks.E-learning is a new form of social network service based on the Internet,which has the interactive characteristics of Web 2.0.By associating the two types of nodes and their interactive relationship among teachers and students,an e-learning interactive network is formed.E-leaming interaction network is a kind of social network following special pedagogical principles.The research on social network:characteristics and the influence of dominant nodes not only sheds light on social network investigation in e-learning,but also deepens and expands the theoretical study in social network research field.Focusing on the influence of dominant nodes in e-leaming interrelationship network,this research relies on the theoretical fundaments in information dissemination,knowledge transmission,social network,scale-free network,e-learning interaction,and applies research methods including literature survey,social network analysis,simulation,questionnaire and regression analysis.The research thoroughly examines the dominant-node influence,as well as its influential factors,and puts forward the maximizing strategy of the dominant-node's influence.To be specific,there are several major findings of this research:(1)It constructs the e-learning interrelationship network model concerning both teacher-and student-nodes,and clarifies the features of this network.Based on general social network model,this study forms the theoretical model of e-learning interactive relationships among teacher-and student-nodes.It constructs the interrelationship network using actual interactive data generated from a university online learning platform.The research provides general interrelationship network generation algorithm based on scale-free network BA algorithm.Teacher-and student-nodes show great distinctions in e-learning interactive network.The degree probability distribution of this network generally follows the power-law distribution and has scale-free properties.Teacher-node appears to have higher average degree than student-node and dominants the e-learning process.In other words,teacher-node is the dominant-node in this network.(2)Based on the structure of network topology,the influence of the dominant node is analyzed statically.Through evaluating the performance of four indicators including degree centrality,median centrality,compactness centrality and dissemination rate,the influence of dominant nodes is analyzed statically.The influence of the dominant node is directly reflected by its adjacent node which it directly interacts with.(3)Based on dynamics simulation,the influence of dominant nodes is inspected dynamically.By establishing the dynamic simulation model of information dissemination and constructing the simulation network with optimized BA algorithm,the process of information dissemination can be simulated dynamically.The research finds out that:the information transmission in e-learning interrelationship network is uninfluenced by the total number of nodes.Dominant nodes and ordinary nodes appear to have the same transmission period.Information transmission with dominant-node being the first one is slightly faster than when ordinary node comes as the first.An important element in information transmission in e-learning interrelationship network is the rate of dominant nodes'transmission,nevertheless,it shows the tendency of diminishing marginal utility after reaching a certain extent.(4)It investigates the influential factors of dominant nodes' influence,and proposes the maximizing strategy of the dominant nodes' influence.By using questionnaires,structural interview and regression analysis,the research finds out that:instructing and promoting study,making teacher perceive the existence of students,and teacher's teaching characteristics are three effective factors that elevate the influence of dominant-node.Based on the above findings,the thesis proposes targeted suggestions from the e-learning platform,teacher,school and educational administration dimensions to optimize the issue in concern.There are innovative highlights of this research:(1)It constructs the e-learning interrelationship network model concerning both teacher-and student-nodes,and highlights the heterogeneity among them.The research provides general interrelationship network generation algorithm,which expands the social network investigation in e-learning and further deepens as well as expands the theoretical study in social network research field.(2)By combining static analysis with dynamic simulation,it investigates the influential power of dominant-node in e-learning interrelationship network in depth,which deepens the study of teachers'role in e-learning,also innovates the research methods of the influence of social network nodes,and expands the theory in e-learning field.(3)It clearly illustrates the influential elements of dominant-node influence,and proposes targeted suggestions concerning maximizing the influence of dominant-node.The research takes an empirical perspective,greatly enriches the study on e-learning interactive influential elements.
