Research On The Self-development Of College Students From The Perspective Of Ideological And Political Education

Self-development is the natural need of human survival and development.It is the unremitting pursuit of people's own thinking,the exploration of human nature,the existential value and ideal realm.In all over the world from all the time,whether it is the rational meditation of Western philosophy or the unfaltering pursuit of Chinese philosophy in the inner realm of life,human beings have never stopped examining themselves and exploring their own development.If Western philosophy's rational meditation on individual self-subjectivity makes self-development raise the subjective banner,the traditional Chinese philosophical outlook on life is focused on the spiritual life growth brought about by self-development from the inner mentality of the individual.Western contemporary psychology generally regards self-development as a phased internal structural connection,focusing on the study of self-development characteristics at different stages.Marxist theory of human science which provides methodological guidance for analyzing the self-development of college students,points out that individual self-development must be based on the unity of individuality and sociality,the unity of self-value and social value,the unity of self-development and all-round development.Contemporary college students are the main force to promote social development and meanwhile to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In the actual work of counselors,we found that some college students' life-plan full of disorder and they are completely puzzled in real situation both resulted from the deviation of self-knowledge and also the declination of self-discipline,which led to the lack of ideals and beliefs,the lack of meaning in life,the lack of self-discipline consciousness,and even the stagnation of development process and other issues,seriously affecting the healthy growth of college students.Aiming at the outstanding problems that counselors face in their daily work,this paper has a clear problem orientation.Through combing the historical and cultural dimensions of the self-development theory and the modern theoretical dimensions,this paper elaborates the relationship between ideological and political education and college students'self-development.Based on the investigation of student groups and the empirical investigation of counselors' interviews,this paper analyzes the reasons that lead to the problems of contemporary college students' self-development.It is proposed that the ideological and political work of college students should promote students to become the whole healthy human being,guide students to establish ideals and beliefs,strengthen knowledge and skills,shape a sound personality,enhance the realm of life and so as to motivate,awaken and guide college students' self-development.This paper consists of five parts including introduction,self-development theory combing,empirical research,the relationship between ideological and political education and college students' self-development,and the path of ideological and political education to promote college students' self-development,totaling eight chapters.Introduction.This chapter mainly discusses the theoretical and practical significance of the topic,which summarizes the western psychological research on self-development and the domestic theoretical research on college students'self-development.On this basis,this paper determines to apply the idea of cross analysis which combines political education with self-development of college students,so as to deepen the connotation,theoretical basis and knowledge reference of political education of college students,which is also helpful for building a system of self-development cultivation of college students,and exploring an innovative mode of political work of college students.Chapter One The theoretical reference and knowledge base of the research about self-development of contemporary college students.This chapter mainly inspects from the methodological guidance of Marxist theory of human science for self-development,as well as the historical and cultural dimensions and modern theoretical dimensions of self-development.It provides theoretical reference and knowledge base for the study of contemporary college students' self-development.Chapter Two The basic theory of self-development of contemporary college students.This chapter expounds the connotation of college students' self-development from the aspects of its nature,function,direction,core elements and categories.This chapter analyzes the background of college students' self-development from two aspects,which are the microscopic space-time environment and the macroscopic characteristics of the times.This chapter analyzes the characteristics of college students'self-development from the unified angles of culture and history,individuality and sociality,initiative and passivity,continuity and phase,politics and value.Chapter Three The main problems in the self-development of contemporary college students.This chapter conducts an empirical study on the self-development of college students.Based on the survey data of questionnaires about college students'study and development in Xidian University and interviews with some counselors,it makes an in-depth analysis and points out that the problems in current college students'self-development.It also analyzes the main causes of college students and the external causes at the three levels of school,family and society.The conclusion of this research provides strong support for guiding ideological and political education and promoting college students' self-development.Chapter Four Ideological and political education and self-development of college students.Starting with the internal relationship between ideological and political education and self-development of college students,this chapter points out that guiding college students' self-development is the inherent improvement of ideological and political education,which provides an important guarantee for college students'self-development,they promote and support each other.This chapter probes into the basic principles of ideological and political education based on self-development of college students,such as the principle of whole-person education,the principle of harmony development,the principle of student-centered,the principle of living world,the principle of continuous improvement and the principle of output orientation.Finally,from the perspective of ideological and political education,the analysis also points out that ideals and beliefs,knowledge and ability,sound personality and realm of life enterprises value from ten levels.On this basis,it proposes that we should establish the trinity idea of knowledge,ability and quality,learning from foreign advanced education models,innovate teaching forms and cultivate college students'self-education ability,so as to realize the comprehensive improvement of college students' knowledge,ability and quality,and lay a solid foundation for their self-development.Chapter Seven Leading the self-development goals of college students with the major line of sound personality shaping.This chapter points out that the goal of College Students' self-development is to shape a sound personality.From the five aspects of the physiological,psychological,social,moral and aesthetic factors of personality,it also points out that the physiological factors are the basis of a sound personality,the psychological factors are the guarantee of a sound personality,and the social factors are the core of a sound personality,the moral factors are the direction of a sound personality,the aesthetic factors are the promotion of a sound personality as well.On these five bases,this paper puts forward a five-dimensional system for shaping college students'sound personality,and probes into the relevant paths and methods.Chapter Eight Taking the cultivation of the realm of life as the support to promote the self-development pattern of college students.This chapter points out that colleges and universities can enhance the life realm of college students by cultivating their great minds,strategic vision,family and national feelings as well as students to pursue and yearn for the realm of truth,goodness and beauty of life as a support,fully expand the pattern of college students' self-development,so as to further support and promote college students' self-development.The research of this paper combines the ideological and political education with the encouragement,awakening and guidance of college students' self-development.It hopes that corresponding work can be carried out in the aspects of ideals and beliefs,knowledge,ability,personality,and life realm cultivation,through effective ideological and political education,so as to guide students to develop by themselves consciously,construct the meaningful world of students' growth and development,and make students develop into qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics of excellent talents with both ability and virtue.
