Studies On The Education Of College Students' Cultural Confidence In The New Era

Culture is a kind of ideology,a kind of spiritual belief,and the root for the comprehensive development of an individual and the prosperity of a nation.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi has repeatedly emphasized that cultural self-confidence is the ideological foundation of road self-confidence,theoretical self-confidence,and institutional self-confidence,as “cultural self-confidence” a more basic self-confidence.The connotation of cultural self-confidence not only penetrates into the economic,political,social and other aspects,but also pervades daily thoughts,behaviors,and lifestyles such as dealing with the world and with people.The biggest characteristic of cultural self-confidence is permeability,which has a wide range of attractiveness,influence,leadership and competitiveness.Therefore,cultural self-confidence is an important basis for improving cultural soft power.From the perspective of international development,cultural self-confidence is an inevitable requirement for the fierce competition of national cultural soft power.In the 21 st century we can no longer rely solely on economics and politics to change the world.It also needs to rely on the strength of cultural development to defend sovereignty.In the era of economic globalization and cultural diversification,many Western thoughts have flowed into China,which has continuously undermined college students' outlooks on life,world,and values.As the core force for realizing the goal of building a modernized socialism country,college students must establish a high degree of cultural self-confidence to prevent their mainstream consciousness from being eroded.This study focuses on education of new college students' cultural self-confidence,analyzes some major problems about cultural self-confidence education to students,and builds routing solutions to solve these potential problems.Establishing a high degree of cultural self-confidence is a strategic guarantee for achieving a culturally strong country.It is necessary to start by cultivating the practical significance of college students' cultural self-confidence.And we sort out the current status of cultural studies at home and abroad,and use this as a research basis to establish the research ideas and methods and construct a clear logical context in this study.In addition,we clarify the connotation of new era culture and cultural self-confidence,demonstrate the inherent logic of new era and cultural self-confidence,blend better the cultural self-confidence with the times,and continue to give it new meaning,namely to i)achieve the target spiritual power of new generation;ii)respond to the needs of big change in the new era with no examples in one century;iii)build the cornerstone to cultivate and practice the socialist core values;iv)accomplish needs to move Chinese traditional culture to a new era,and v)fulfill needs for education of new era healthy and useful college students.We also take Marxist cultural thought as the theoretical support and guiding ideology of cultural self-confidence,and further combine historical experience and lessons,to make our research contents carried out smoothly to analyze and study the problems of cultural self-confidence cultivation of college students in the new era.In the form of a questionnaire,we had a brief analysis of the current status of cultural self-confidence cultivation of college students,and discovered the attributions,from various perspectives,of college students' blind respect for foreign culture,lack of faith,insufficient cultural literacy,and insufficient practice.Then we summarized the argument subjects and solution paths based on those major problems.To meet the new requirements of the new era,we should adhere to the unity of epochal vs nationality,principles of science vs value,and ethics education vs comprehensive development of students,as the primary basis and scientific guidance for cultivating the cultural self-confidence of college students in the new era.To analyze history and reality of cultural self-confidence education in college students in the new era.According to the cultivation of college students' cultural self-confidence,we must set the clear goals and reasonable principles,formulate a sound system,and create innovative cultivation methods.By this way,the new generation of college students can be externalized through the cultivation of cultural self-confidence and realize the final goal of socialist modernization of a strong country.
