Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Chinese State-owned Museum

In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s museum industry,the development of the museum business has been written into the constitution,rose to the national strategy.After the implementation of the free and open policy of the museum,the government vigorously put into the museum business,in the construction,management and operation to provide strong financial support,under the museum financial support mechanism,but always lack the appropriate binding.As the main force of China’s museum industry,state-owned museums under the financial support system,there have been lack of autonomy,development momentum,and innovation,and the development of extremely uneven,are facing difficults to be solved.In order to bring new impetus and vitality to the development of state-owned museums,our state-owned museums need to establish scientific performance evaluation mechanism,guide and supervise the development of state-owned museums,provide the basis and key for formulating the relevant policies of state-owned museums,optimizing the structure and intensity of resource investment support.This paper puts forward the performance evaluation of state-owned museums as the research object,on the basis of combing the research results of museum performance evaluation in domestic and foreign academic circles and compar-ing the practical experience of national museum performance evaluation,and the institutional environment and quantity of the state-owned museums,the basic situation of unbalanced development of all kinds,this paper constructs the performance evaluation model of our country’s state-owned museum,including evaluation mechanism,index system,data collection,calculation method,result analysis and feedback application.It is pointed out that the performance evaluation of the current state-owned museum financial support system should be government-led,industry and public participation,and the third party evaluation institution should implement it.The common index system of the performance evaluation of the state-owned museum constructed in this paper not only includes the subjective evaluation of the state-owned museum management level and the audience satisfaction,but also the objective reflection of the state-level museum and the social service ability,which meet the content requirements of state-owned museum performance evaluation.The first-line data is collected through the on-site audience satisfaction questionnaire,sending the data questionnaire to the museums and the expert scores.This paper constructs the common performance evaluation model as the basis of the performance evaluation practice of state-owned museums.In the practice of specific performance evaluation,the corresponding performance evaluation index system can be developed according to the orientation and characteristics of the evaluation object.Based on the comprehensive quantitative method designed in this paper,the performance level of the evaluation object can be result.Through the practical application of the performance evaluation of the national museum and the state-owned county-level comprehensive museum,the flexibility and maneuverability of the performance evaluation model of the state-owned museum are verified,and the information of the evaluation result is fully excavated,which reflects the practical value of the state-owned museum performance evaluation model.
