With the expansion of the Internet and the advancement of globalization,the uncertainty of the environment in which enterprises live is becoming more and more prominent.Only by properly promoting strategic changes can enterprises achieve better sustainable development.However,due to the dynamic and continuity of strategic changes,it is very difficult for enterprises to successfully implement strategic changes.Especially for mixed-tension enterprises,they often face multiple tensions at the same time,and the process of strategic change will be more complex and changeable.Although existing studies on the process of strategic change have revealed the process of strategic change from various perspectives,there is a lack of openness to the process of strategic change in the uncertain environment for mixed-tension enterprises.Therefore,based on paradox theory and field theory,this dissertation takes mixed-tension enterprises as the research object,opens up the process of strategic change,and constructs a process model of strategic change in line with the perspectives of continuous change.The research content of this dissertation is based on the logic of paradox tension,"latent process" and field bearing of strategic change process.It consists of three parts:Firstly,the paradox tension and strategic change process of the organization.From the perspective of paradox,organizational tension is the driving force for the change of enterprise strategy.In mixed-tension enterprises,tension situations are complex and changeable.In this dissertation,two kinds of ontologies based on paradox tension can be divided into inherent paradox and construction paradox.By means of content analysis,this dissertation first takes Panzhihua Iron & Steel Group as the research object.This dissertation explores how the interaction between induced strategy and autonomous strategy affects the process of strategic change from the perspective of the relationship between construction paradox and strategic change.Secondly,this dissertation takes Xin Hua College of Sun Yat-sen University as the research object.This dissertation further explores how the inherent paradox and the construction paradox influence the process of strategic change together.Finally,the relationship between the coordination of mixed tensions and strategic change is summarized by synthesizing the two process studies.Secondly,it explores the "latent process" of strategic change through the interaction of organizational cognition and action.There are potential processes in the process of strategic change that can not be seen at the explicit level.In order to open up this potential process and discover the mechanism of new strategy in the process of strategic change,Firstly,through the critical event path method,the potential process of strategic change is summarized by taking Dongfang Steam Turbine Co.,Ltd.as the research object,and the "potential process" of strategic change is obtained.Secondly,by using layer-by-layer coding method,this dissertation takes Changhong Group as the research object to explore the characteristics of organizational cognition and action in the process of discontinuous strategic change,and to test the validity of the conclusion of "latent process".Finally,the "latent process" of strategic change of mixed-tension enterprises is summarized.Thirdly,the "strategic field" bearing the tension and the process of strategic change.The concept of field appears in many theories.Conceptual definitions of field are diverse,and their commonalities are used to carry the behavior and interaction of units or entities in the field.Although previous studies have shown that environment and situation have important effects on strategic change,there is no specific concept to describe the role of field in the process of strategic change.Therefore,this dissertation takes Dongfang Turbine Co.,Ltd.as the research object to explore the mechanism of "strategic field" in the process of strategic change through the critical event path method.In addition,this dissertation takes Xin Hua College of Sun Yat-sen University as the research object to explore the co-evolution process of strategic field and paradox tension and strategic change through content analysis.The main innovations of this dissertation are as follows: Firstly,this dissertation divides paradoxical tensions into different levels.It reveals the coordination mechanism of different tensions and a new way to study the process of strategic change of enterprises.Based on summarizing the relevant literature on paradox,this dissertation starts from the construction paradox and inherent paradox.Secondly,this dissertation introduces the concept of "strategic field" and goes deep into the "latent process" of enterprise strategic change,which promotes the exploration of the field mechanism in the process of enterprise strategic change.By exploring the process of strategic change in the strategic field of different research objects,this dissertation constructs the concept of "strategic field" which puts forward the driving mechanism and focusing mechanism of the role of the field,which provides a new direction for the exploration and theoretical development of the environment in which strategic change occurs.Thirdly,on the basis of summing up the three parts of paradox tension,"latent process" and field bearing,this paper constructs a process model that runs through continuous and discontinuous strategic change and expands the boundary of enterprise strategic change process research.
