As one of the important research topics of group decision making theory and fuzzy information theory, fuzzy group decision theory is widely used in the fields of emergency risk management and investment, supply chain management, decision analysis, military equipment and so on.With the rapid development of social economy, the complexity of human environment is increasing, and the indeterminacy of the group decision problems and the limitations of human thinking are promoted the research of the fuzzy group decision theories and methods, which gradually enrich and improve the systems of fuzzy group decision theories and methods.Among them,as a new decision information analysis model, the intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations-notonly inherit the characteristic advantage of intuitioistic fuzzy preference relations, but also use the natural information expression strategy of linguistic preference relations. Thus,it can get better utilized in practical group decision making problems. In addition, the existing group decision making methods with intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations and linguistic preference relations have some deficiencies and defects, which lead to the reasonable o f the final group decision results is questionable. Therefore, under the environments of intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations, linguistic preference relations and intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations, the purpose of the paper is to investigate some novel group decision support models and approaches, and several numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the investigated models. The main works and innovations points of this paper are summarized as follows:1.The group decision models with consistency of intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations are proposed. The concepts of order consistency and weak transitivity for IFPRs are introduced, which are followed by the discussion of excellent properties and construction approach for multiplicative consistent intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations. With the principle of minimizing the deviations between original intuitionistic fuzzy preference relation and its corresponding multiplicative consistent intuitionistic fuzzy preference relation, two linear optimization models are developed for both individual and group intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations. Two group decision making algorithms are further proposed to derive the priority weight vector for both individual and group intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations,respectively.2.The group decision models with linguistic preference relations are developed on the basis of additive consistency and multiplicative consistency.A new concept of linguistic preference relations is first defined. The order consistency and additive consistency of linguistic preference relations are introduced and followed by a discussion of the characterization about additive consistent linguistic preference relations. The relationship is analyzed between the additive consistent and multiplicative consistent linguistic preference relations with the normalized priority weight vector of alternatives. For an unacceptable consistent linguistic preference relation, based on automatic iterative algorithm and linear optimization model, two convergent linguistic decision-making models are constructed to improve consistency level until the consistency of the adjusted linguistic preference relations reaches the predetermined-threshold.In the end,the adjusted linguistic-preference relations are utilized to generate the more reasonable and effective group decision-making results.3.The novel decision support model with intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations is investigated, which guarantees each intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relation is still acceptable multiplicative consistent when the predefined consensus level is achieved.First, some concepts of multiplicative consistency, weak transitivity, consistency index, individual consensus degree and group consensus degree for intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations are defined, which are followed by the discussion of the desirable properties for individual and group intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations. Then, with respect to individual intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relation,an approach is presented to construct the multiplicative consistent intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relation, and a convergent algorithm is developed to convert an unacceptable multiplicative consistent intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relation to an acceptable one.Furthermore,a convergent compatibility enhancement algorithm is investigated to improve the group consensus level for group intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations. Finally,a decision support model with intuitionistic fuzzy linguistic preference relations is designed, and the practicability and the effectiveness of the investigated model are verified through the importance evaluation experiment of influence factors for fog-haze weather.
