Promoting innovation-driven development has become the key to China's economic transformation and is also an important support for enhancing the competitiveness of urban agglomerations.However,China 's urban agglomerations differ greatly in terms of innovation resource endowment and spatial structure.The innovation policy tools,innovation factor layouts,and innovation platform construction of different urban agglomerations urgently require innovation space aggregation,formation mechanisms,and evolution rules.Innovative economic geography theory support.Therefore,studying the formation of urban agglomeration innovation centers from the perspective of innovation economic geography has important practical significance for urban agglomeration innovation.The article systematically sorted out the internal correlation mechanism of innovation spatial distribution,knowledge space spillover and urban cluster innovation centers,and used a variety of spatial statistical methods to examine Chinese urban innovation from three levels: innovative cities,innovative urban clusters and urban cluster innovation centers.The characteristic facts of spatial agglomeration,and the analysis of the micro-mechanism of innovative spatial agglomeration based on the local knowledge spillover model of new economic geography,using the spatial econometric model to empirically test the spatial spillover effect of knowledge capital and innovation activities.Draw the following conclusions:Based on the analysis of the innovation spatial pattern of the three scales of innovative cities,innovative urban agglomerations,and urban agglomeration innovation centers,it is found that the spatial distribution of innovation shows a trend of spatial agglomeration and there is an increasing trend;Beijing,Shanghai,and Shenzhen have become Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,the Yangtze River Delta,and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area urban agglomeration innovation centers,forming a "core lead,multi-point agglomeration" cluster innovation Agglomeration pattern;the innovation center's association with the marginal cities' innovations follows the spatial spillover law of proximity and diffusion.Based on the local knowledge spillover model,the micro-mechanism of the innovation center of the urban agglomeration was analyzed and the results were found: Firstly,the micro-mechanism formed by the urban agglomeration innovation center is the cyclical cumulative causality of "knowledge space agglomeration ? increasing knowledge spillover intensity ? innovation cost reduction ? high knowledge capital growth rate ? knowledge space agglomeration".Secondly,when the cost of innovation factors is low and the level of knowledge spillovers is high,innovation agglomeration produces local market effects and price index effects,which is conducive to the formation of innovation centers in urban agglomerations.Thirdly,the increase in international knowledge spillovers is conducive to the increase of the innovation capital share and economic growth rate of innovation centers in domestic urban agglomerations,while domestic knowledge spillovers reduce the capital share of innovation centers,and international knowledge spillovers across the country are conducive to raising capital share in peripheral cities..The empirical test results of the spatial spillover effect of knowledge capital and innovation agglomeration found that: Firstly,there is a spatial correlation between innovation activities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.Local knowledge capital accumulation has a direct spillover effect on innovation agglomeration and a spatial spillover effect on innovation agglomerations in peripheral cities.Secondly,the flow of innovation elements not only has an effect of promoting innovation locally in the innovation center,but also has a space spillover effect on marginal cities.Thirdly,domestic research and development capital has a polarizing effect on the international intellectual capital innovation effect of FDI channel spillovers,and domestic human capital contributes to the spatial diffusion of the international intellectual capital innovation effect of spillovers from import channels.Taking the spatial evolution of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Innovation Center as a case study,it was found that Shenzhen has become the "new center" of the Greater Bay Area innovation;in the long run,the space spillover effect of R & D capital is significantly positive.Therefore,the Greater Bay Area can build a multi-level and three-dimensional innovation space structure of "knowledge innovation center-technical innovation center-industrial innovation center" to promote the construction of global science and technology innovation centers.The innovation of this thesis lies in the following: Firstly,from the perspective of innovative economic geography,based on the new economic geography local spillover model,the introduction of the flow of knowledge capital and the different degrees of openness are used to analyze the micro-mechanisms formed by the innovation centers of urban agglomerations,and to study the accumulation of knowledge capital The spatial spillover effect on the innovation clusters and innovation centers of urban agglomerations.Secondly,based on the three dimensions of the innovation space pattern of cities,urban agglomerations,and urban agglomeration innovation centers,the characteristics of the spatial agglomeration of urban agglomeration innovation centers are analyzed and analyzed from multiple perspectives.It is found that the relationship between innovation centers and marginal urban innovation follows the spatial overflow of proximity and hierarchical diffusion.law.Thirdly,based on the innovation space spillover mechanism and urban spatial distribution pattern,the formation and evolution of urban agglomeration innovation centers are tested empirically according to the framework of “spatial characteristics,spatial mechanisms,and spatial effects”,and then suggestions for the construction of urban agglomeration innovation centers.
