| Today, the pace of world economic integration is speeding up, but the regional agglomeration of industry as an important economic phenomenon is not to be ignored. Industrial agglomeration can promote knowledge’s spillover in the region, lets the inside enterprises get knowledge which can used for technological innovation, then promoting enterprise’s innovation ability, this process further promote the whole innovation level of agglomeration region. As the starting cad carrier of advanced technical knowledge, hi-tech industry has become a strategic industry in national economic development, it plays a huge role in developing economic, and it has a strong knowledge penetration to the traditional industry. Through the region comparison research on regional innovation and industrial cluster of the high technology industry, it can help improving knowledge spillover effects of high-tech industry in the central and western regions, advancing its regional innovation and competitiveness, it also has a realistic significance in promoting its economic growth and industrial upgrading.This paper based on the theory of industrial agglomeration and knowledge spillover, analysis the influence mechanism of the knowledge spillover based on industrial agglomeration to the level of regional innovation, and state the spillover process of the hi-tech industry knowledge in our country. Further, make an comparative analysis of the current innovation and agglomeration situation of Chinese pharmaceutical industry and electronic and telecommunications equipment industry. On this basis, focus on the two kinds of hi-tech industry researched, using the 31 provinces’panel data to build an knowledge production function model, to do the empirical analysis in two steps. First of all, based on the countrywide data, discuss the differences of knowledge spillover manner between industries. Second, divided the two industries into three regions, to do the empirical analysis separately, and then discuss influence factor and regional difference of regional innovation.Through the analysis of the two kinds of hi-tech industry, we get the main conclusions:the two kinds of the hi-tech industry distribute uneven on the space, most enterprises are concentrated in the eastern region, and the agglomeration degree of the central and western regions are low, the specialized spillover has a positive role in promoting the regional innovation, while the effect of the diversification of spillover tends to be different between industries, the diversity of development environment can improve the regional innovation level, the relationship between employment density and the level of innovation presents to be an opposite of "U". |
