This is a study of Self-Determination Theory in English language learning and on Chinese culture group. Self-Determination Theory has been successfully applied to many academic fields. However, it has not yet been fully explored in the filed of English language learning. Also, recently some researchers have raised another issue regarding the cultural application within Self-Determination Theory. These researchers argued that the theory may not be applied to people from different cultures. This study will further explore the application of Self-Determination Theory in English language learning and examine its effect on adult Chinese culture group. |
