Compared to some developed countries,China started career education late.With the reform of the college entrance examination system,career education has begun to be emphasized,promoted and applied in the middle school.In high school,career education can help students understand themselves,plan academic studies,choose subjects and majors,and do problem-making decisions.So what kind of impact and help can career education have for students in junior high school?With this kind of thinking,the author started the practice of career education in junior high schools.After three years of practice and accumulation of career education,the author has completed a school-based curriculum of career education.The curriculum is developed with consideration of the fact that junior middle school students' psychological characteristics,which shows that they're gradually becoming more independent,hoping to obtain self-reliance and respect.It's also taken into account the situation that junior high school students are often under heavy study task and academic pressure,without initiative in their study.The purpose of this research is to study the regulation of career education establishment on the self-determination motivation of junior high school students.Research objectives:(1)Design a career education course,with a total of 13 classes.(2)Explore the impact of career education courses on the level of self-determination motivation of junior middle school students.The independent variable of the experiment is the career education course.The dependent variable is the self-determination motivation level of the students.The experiment explores the influence of career education on the level of Junior High School Students' Self-determination Motivation.Through the questionnaire on "self-control learning",the level of self-determination motivation of each class in Grade 7 is measured.The classes at the closest two levels are selected as the experimental groups and the control groups.The experimental groups are given one lesson per week,45 minutes per lesson,with a total of 13 career education classes and interviews after the course.The control groups aren't given any psychological intervention.Before and after the experiment,the pre-test and post-test data of the test groups and the control groups are compared.Conclusion:(1)Career education has a positive effect on the self-determination motivation of junior middle school students.(2)Career education has a reduced effect on the external regulation of junior high school students' self-determination motivation.(3)Career education has a positive effect on the internal adjustment of junior high school students' self-determination motivation.
