The purpose of this causal-comparative study was to determine the perceptions that female management level employees in professional sports held regarding perceived organizational support (POS) within the National Football League, National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball. Also examined was the relationship of the independent variables, age, race, title and league, on the dependent variables of POS, two POS constructs and Propensity to Leave (PTL). A response rate of 24.24% (n=127) was obtained. Each participant was asked to rate her level of perceived organizational support, propensity to leave and which of four factors would cause her to leave the organization. Participants responded that they perceived organizational support (POS) to be strong, they had a low propensity to leave (PTL) and that lack of advancement opportunities would be the likeliest cause of them leaving (65.4%, n=83). Further, it was found that age was a positive predictor for African-America respondents and Minority respondents and a negative predictor for Whites when it came to POS, mean well-being, mean perceived caring and PTL.
