The research focuses on the coworker support and perceived organizational support and collectively leads to the organizational performance.This research adopts a single case study of Mini Banker where interviews were taken and examined the behaviors of employees in the light of Social Exchange theory and Organizational Support Theory.Data was collected through Structured,Unstructured and Semi structured interviews and archival as well.In the past literature there's been work done on employee satisfaction and engagement.But overall organizational performance has not been seen from the angle of employees behaviors.Social Exchange theory says employees perceive support,demonstrate high satisfaction and subjective well being.This rule implies on both coworker and organizational support.Similarly,Organizational Support Theory states if employees perceive enough rewards and recognition then according to reciprocity principle employee in return work more efficiently and more dedicated towards organizations goals and objectives.We found from our research employees who perceive sufficient support from coworkers tend to have positive emotional feelings.This behavior helps them to demonstrate good quality work and excel in task performance.Moreover,employees developed a discretionary behavior i.e Organizational Citizenship Behavior.Although this behavior is not a formal job role but this results in from individuals subjective well being.OCB is also found when employees get rewards and recognitions from organization.So OCB is a discretionary behavior that can help an organization to perform well if and only if employees perceive high POS.This study provides practical implications for the organizations who wish to increase the greater employees' performance,greater perceived support and discretionary behaviors.So organizations should create such channels through which employees' interact or intermingle with each other and show their supportive behavior which is not only tasked oriented but can be discretionary.Perceived organizational support is an important factor for developing coworker's relationship and overall organizational performance.Organizations should find ways to recognize employees' performance in a way that energize other employees work level.
