For the majority of American children and teenagers, video games are in integral part of their experience growing up. They are often viewed negatively by the general public as violence producing, isolating, time wasters with little to no positive outcome. Research, on the other hand, shows there are many positive outcomes as a result for those who engage in healthy video game play.
