This qualitative, exploratory study captured the personal and professional lives of 20 managers at the Air Reserve Personnel Center (ARPC), in Denver, Colorado, regarding the most prevalent leadership style used at ARPC and the leadership style each manager individually currently employs. The researcher used one-on-one semi-structured investigative interviews using a theme identification process with two independent coders, to analyze the data obtained, discover themes, and find meaning to the exploratory approach. The data was analyzed for emerging themes, which derived from rich and descriptive data provided directly from the study's subjects through interview dialogue.
