Political economy analysis concerning energy policy: Consideration of technological regime in power industry

This research has aimed to clarify the structure of the problem in the energy policy. Especially, it has aimed to clarify the characteristic of the problem structure of the energy policy centering on the spread policy of the renewable energy technology that is the focus of the policy.; This research method executed the analysis while valuing a policy science approach by a political economy technique.; The point of the analysis clarified the structure of the access to the market in the electric power market from an international comparison. Secondarily, the infiltration degree of the policy of spread of the renewable energy technology was verified from the analysis concerning the new energy policy in the municipality in Japan. Thirdly, the characteristic of the system design in the renewable energy technology spread plan was clarified from an international comparison between the spread plan and the system of the renewable energy technology.; And, it was confirmed that the structure of the policy decision of technological regime existed as a problem structure in the energy policy, and the existence of this technological regime influenced the spread of the renewable energy technology as an analysis result.
