Abstract/Summary:
The magnetic properties of some strongly-correlated-electron systems have been investigated by means of both bulk and microscopic techniques. Bulk studies include magnetic, specific heat, magnetoresistance and complex conductivity measurements. Microscopic structure determinations were performed using neutron diffraction. Strong magneto crystalline anisotropy was observed with implications for the ground state magnetic structures and related properties.
