Abstract/Summary:
This study was designed to answer a specific question: How relevant are Peter Wagner's church growth principles as applied to Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles? It seeks to validate Wagner's seven vital signs of a growing church within the MBCLA context.; MBCLA is a prominent Chinese church of more than one thousand worshippers in the fast growing Chinese community of San Gabriel Valley. In the past ten years, MBCLA experienced phenomenal growth. This study seeks to analyze factors that contribute to MBCLA's growth.; The study also contains surveys and observation of lay members, leaders, and the pastoral staff of MBCLA.
