Abstract/Summary:
Today, there are many juvenile delinquents that often feel regret or feel forgotten about. Many studies have focused on quantitative methodologies to examine conditions involving juvenile delinquents. Few qualitative studies regarding juvenile delinquency have addressed how individuals have experienced the phenomena from their perspective. This study used the phenomenological approach, and semi-structured interviews, to examine how adult survivors of juvenile delinquency experienced child neglect, sexual abuse, drug abuse, physical abuse, and how organizational leadership and involvement can contribute to rehabilitating juvenile delinquents.
