The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Safe Schools Pyramid as perceived by students, faculty, and staff at Charles D. Owen Middle School. The Center for the Prevention of School Violence established the pyramid with each level being a different strategy for preventing violence. The evaluation model chosen for this study is the Program Outcome Approach Model.; The information for this evaluation consists of the inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes for each level of the pyramid. The information was obtained from a variety of sources. Facts regarding student, teacher, and staff perceptions of the effectiveness of the various levels of the pyramid were gained through the use of surveys and interviews.
