Post-bureaucratic organizational structures are one of the ways in which modern organizations attempt to deal with changing environments. However, although post-bureaucracies are often discussed in the abstract, concrete evidence of their existence is lacking. This study explores whether or not such post-bureaucratic organizational structures exist by utilizing skill-based pay as a method for determining their existence.
