Abstract/Summary:
agnetic and hyperfine properties of amorphous Fe-P alloys have been studied over a range of compositions not previously accessible using Mossbauer spectroscopy, SQUID magnetometry, and thermograviometric analysis. In a second study, Mossbauer spectroscopy was used to investigate two distinct microstructural phases of melt spun ;Films of a-;Isomer shifts (IS) at 295 K were analyzed using the (semi) empirical model of Miedema and van der Woude. Data for iron rich films were in general agreement with the model, but data at lower iron concentrations deviated significantly. The IS of a-FeP and c-FeP are similar and the mean IS of a-Fe;Magnetic ordering temperatures were used to construct a magnetic phase diagram. Films having x ;Mossbauer studies on melt spun...
