| Measurement of the equilibrium surface tension is no problem nowadays. On the contrary, the measurement of the, for industrial purpose more important dynamic surface tension, is not that easy. Each method has its own peculiar time-scale. In this work, two new methods are presented, both fast methods with interesting timescales.; The first method, flow in a capillary tube, is usefull for the measurement of adsorption kinetics with diffusion controlled or micellar systems for expansion as well as for compression.; The other method, the falling film, is also useful for studying adsorption kinetics. Moreover, this method is the base of an industrial coating technic (curtain coating) and so our study on this subject gives a direct method for predicting the stability of the falling film. |
