The present study examined the impacts of prosocial intervention given to students in grades 7 to12. Intervention approaches were implemented by a secondary school in central California to students who have engaged in defiant behavior that has led to school expulsion. Specific areas of interest in potential change were in academic performance measured by grades, as well as in behavior changes measured by number of suspensions. Comparison of performance between genders and level of student risk was measured and whether there were significant differences, after being given some level of prosocial intervention. |
